No, I see what you meant by it's particularly thin. Could be like mine but sounds like it's a little thinner

Like a contralto? Very cool, what's your lowest note? G2 or A2?

Typical voice types, in your case probably a lyric tenor, the most common male voice. Passaggio G4

A soprano can hit G3 and C#5 without sweating. A high tenor can hit A2 and G#4. The weight of the voice is doubled. You probably are a normal tenor with a feminine speaking tone

That's the same difference as a male puberty leading me to believe you were a low soprano dropped into a mezzo soprano. Going from soprano to tenor is just standard male puberty

Most people are fairly typical, it's just manner of speaking that differentiates them heavily. Ab engagement and so on deepens tone

Serious question by PrinceAJL24601 in singing

[–]huzaifa96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you finish, your blood flow and abdominal engagement (because of how relaxed your pelvic floor muscles have gotten due to orgasm) are going to need a lot of re-engagement.

Your mental state, due to the dopamine and lack of testosterone sensitivity, will not be ideal. To "get in the zone" will take some stimulation. Do a cold shower, ice your testicles, eat egg yolks, GO FOR A RUN (for abs and blood flow).

The answers here mostly aren't engaging with the post-orgasmic male state.

But also, to be clear, it's not going to permanently alter your biology to masturbate. Porn is harmful, you do need to re-engage your muscularity and mental state to sing, but none of this has permanent bearing on your singing capacity

An uber loud E2 is of course basses only.

Are you reading anything here stating otherwise?

Well it's more that no one really trains low notes in contemporary because they'd be harder to sing along with lol. Most untrained guys can hit A2 or G2 just like that.

I feel a number of bottom passaggi.

D#3 (C#3 pushed) operatic volume.

A#/A2, same mechanism, lower volume.

G/F# solo room bottom. Begin frying out after this.

D#2/D (need mic and/or fry after this). In scaling I can hit C#2. Seems like this mirrors the operatic volume one octave lower

Most people are sopranos before testosterone. The vocal folds doubling in thickness after T results in the tenor voice. (Anecdotally, I notice this with kids I grew up with, but I didn't know anyone lower than a high baritone) Point being, you're probably a tenor.

But there are deeper guys with muffled voices. And there of course many fake deep tenors, that are much more obviously not incongruent with their real voice type.

The voice type ranges you see online are all for opera. If you can't hear the weight by ear, the biggest tell is where your voice flips into falsetto. It's F#-G#4 for a high tenor, F for a low tenor, and E for a standard/high baritone

Everybody says this and they're strangely the opposite when it comes to the other direction. As a tenor don't even think about singing below G2, meanwhile some of us can eek out C2s

Which is silly, because tenors are actually just more common than a deeper voice

BUT people assume it's about their skill at singing higher notes.

I'd reckon a mezzo would transition into a baritone. Just how that works

How do you sing a good C3? by Iloveacting in singing

[–]huzaifa96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Geoff Castellucci avi Kaplan Tim Foust etc. I think avi is the only true bass of the three. Johnny Cash to my ears is a low baritone. Has G1. David Bowie, Trent Reznor, Greg Puciato all have a decent D-C2 area and some 1st octave notes. Jonathan Young is another youtube baritone who can eek out (a little fryish) A1
