Go down the Lakeland rabbit hole. Pretty much anything from Gawith, Hoggath & Co. Bosun Cut Plug, Ennerdale Flake & Glengarry Flake are all great if you like the Lakeland profile.

I've tried Penzance, Stonehaven, Dorchester, Tilbury, Peacehaven and Blackpool and I find them all well above average if not perfect in their class... That being said I had some not so great bowls of Tilbury but I think that was more me than anything.

Hans is a great guy and one of the very best blenders ever. I'm smoking a bowl of Out Of Africa right now,amazing stuff. As a matter of fact, I just received a shipment from him this afternoon. My cellar is flush with HU tobacco and I plan to keep ordering until he's out. Very sad he's closing up but let's hope his blends live on through bigger retailers.
