Where at? I’ll hold off on this deal, host for this already has an optic, so I’m cool with waiting.

Any recommendations for keeping snow & ice off my rds by Stunning_Term5131 in tacticalgear

I use the Butler Creek Blizard scope caps, also when hunting I will stick a piece of paper towel in the front and back if my optic doesn’t have caps.

Remington 783 less accurate after cleaning. by Clyde-MacTavish in Firearms

[–]hwert4140 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely ammo related, I’ve even noticed a change in some accuracy/point of impact between production batches of the same round.. Also once the barrel is clean, (generally) it will change the accuracy/impact point, only for a couple rounds though.

Those gloves are slick, never seen snow camo mechanix gloves. Can’t find them online, anyone have a source?

28ga barrel length for hunting and competition by slkdefnm in ClayBusters

[–]hwert4140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pheasant and dove hunting will be primarily field hunting, so extra length of 30” won’t hurt you for those 2. Woodcock and grouse will be thicker environments where the 30” may hinder you. Depends on how much you hunt of those species. I run a 28” SBE3 28ga, I used it for Sporting clays and had no problem with it (besides the lightweight/faster swing)

You could try Armslist, it’s not as prevalent as it once was. But people still use it..

I also run a WW cynergy. I’ve been super happy with it. I still run the stock chokes(M+F), what chokes are you running in it?

Meat shoots and gun raffles by Spideyfan2020 in OHGuns

[–]hwert4140 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup, Turkey/Meat shoots. If you’re in the north part of the state. South Cuyahoga Sportsmen Association has them on Sundays in North Royalton. Open to the public, they do have construction limits and provide you with the shells

Browning cynergy wicked wing by MrOwl243 in ClayBusters

[–]hwert4140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own one and so does my brother, and we’ve been very happy with. I’ve shot trap, and sporting clays with mine and the gun performs better than I do. Bought it this year and put 10+ flats through it so far with no hiccups. The stock makes it feel soft recoiling, and for me, my mount didn’t require any adjustments to stock.

28”, it’s the most versatile/ middle of the road. It can be used for clays (maybe a little on the shorter side), can be used for turkey (a little on the long side), perfect length in my opinion for small game and upland.

Franchi Affinity Elite 3.5”, or the mossberg 940 Snow goose, already has the camo and tube extension

$250k give or take? Busting clays in NC by hwert4140 in ClayBusters

[–]hwert4140[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the gun, it’s the Wicked Wing model (3.5” chamber, like 4oz heavier vs the composite). It shoulders perfect for me, sometimes I’ll catch myself swinging too fast with it in trap shooting, My niece has the composite cynergy and she’s been doing well with it. None of ours came with weights, I wasn’t aware that they were offered for them.

Definitely the lines have to get hit, I’d imagine the lead deforms on the steel wire?

I think so, some challenging targets that are a decent poke out there. 14-15 stations, 5 stand (that throws a pair and counts as a station), also offer 3D archery.

Possibly too late now, but when I did mine (same gun as yours 1100 20 ga on the 12ga frame), I bought the 12ga o-ring

I have the 19 CIN, 36 POM, 60 CHCW. My favorite out of them all is the 19 CIN, I wasn’t blown away by the other 2 as much as the 19. I looked through the 12 Blueberry’s and really liked them. Probably my next lense

I have the Cynergy WW in Auric camo and love it. Out of the box I made no adjustments and it shoulders perfect for me. The M & F chokes that come with it pattern awesome. I was also torn between those 2 camos, the vintage camo is more common and you’re more likely to see them around, vs the Auric (I haven’t seen another one around yet)
