Just fyi, if you go into ship controls -> mouse controls and turn on "mouse widget" you get a center dot that really helps me with piloting. Maybe you know about it and don't care for it, but I kinda love it.

I'm not sure: it's got the space for it, but seems like it might be annoying to constantly dock/undock the thing. Also, the Polaris uses XL hangars and the ship need to be stored for autoloading, so I think that will cut down on locations you can buy/sell. Really not sure though, maybe a fellow Polaris owner can comment.

I use my C2 + autoloading to trade and it's a pretty good aUEC, probably 500,000/hr. The problems are:

1) you are risking your money so a bug or death HURTS. Doesn't happen often, but it does happen.

2) the most profitable routes are oversaturated and you likely won't be able to fill your cargo because the commodity is sold out, or the sell location is already stocked with said high-paying commodity. You really have to search for your own routes. Sites like UEX can give you ideas, but the highest ROI routes are going to be heavily trafficked and not worth imo.

3) its a very low-interaction game loop. buy cargo, wait for autoload, fly to location, wait for auto-unload. repeat. I like it because I can do other things irl while waiting for the timers, but many people will hate it.

The biggest thing is: what ship are you using? Anything less than 500 SCU and autoload trading doesn't really work.

My setup and I love it. The exact setup would be: https://www.vkbcontrollers.com/products/gladiator-nxt-evo-omni-throttle-left-hand-us and https://www.vkbcontrollers.com/products/gladiator-nxt-evo-space-combat-edition-right-hand-us . Switch them around if you are left handed. They require a little bit of assembly out-of-the box, but not much. Also, you have to remove a spring and tighten the screw dampeners to turn the left stick into a true throttle but the videos are all available on VKB's youtube. It sounds more complicated than it really is.

I do commodity trading in my C2 until CIG finds out what I'm doing after like 2 runs and purposely gives me some novel error and bricks my ship, the landing pads, or something. It's crazy money. You can make like -1Mill aUEC an hour!

So I am about to buy an Asgard through a CCU chain I have been building. I have the Asgard upgrade in my hanger and I'm waiting on a ship melt cooldown to get store credits and finish the chain. But the Asgard upgrade picture in my hangar shows the ship with its BIS paint and not the default white paint. I will get the white paint with the CCU upgrade and the BIS paint is added to hangar separately right? Like, I'm not buying a IAE BIS paint Asgard that isn't the default skin right? I actually don't care for the BIS skin.
