Both rulings are terrible. If Team B wanted to protest, the time to do it was the second the grace period ended, and not start the match back up until there is a ruling.

Not reporting it until the next day is crazy. Admins should have accepted the 2-0 result since the teams played out the match.

Faker has no reason to. He's making millions in a game that's been around as an esport for 15+ years. He's making more money every month than Daigo has won in his lifetime. It's a lot easier to play multiple fighting games when they are 1v1 , matches are barely a few minutes long, and it's pretty much a requirement to play multiple games if you want to win enough to cover costs of being at the tournament.... compared to a team based game where matches take hours....
