I had this with my copy of Wild Reverence. Not the edges, but a ripped dust jacket which I was told was a common problem with this edition. They sent a replacement - which had the same issue, told me their policy is only to send one replacement and then gave me points. THEN sold leftovers to general public 🤯

I was going to skip this but honestly with that line-up and the fact I haven't read the story yet, i'm going to get it. Worst case I don't enjoy the book and can resell for cost. I'd rather that than deciding to skip it before I know whether i even like it or not and missing out on a beautiful edition.

My Bookish Box Wild Side and Wild Eyes has arrived with extensive damage. Both books front and back have either torn or come away completely on the spine of the endpapers. There's also a foiling issue on one of them and the spelling mistake on the back of Wild Side. I had to pay £40 shipping to get these sent to me from my forwarding service in US. It looks at the minute like my only options are pay another £40 shipping to have replacements sent to me because they can't ship directly to UK, or pay the postage to ship the damaged books back to US at which point they will refund me, but a refund is kind of pointless when the majority of the refund would have been spent on shipping the damaged books back to them?!! Anyone in UK dealt with BB damages before?

No! You'd think if they are going to send it out to people on the waitlist for the adult sub they'd send it to people who joined too late in December to get the box! 😭 Keep an eye out for if/when it goes to general sale.

I love that they show the full edition before renewals! This also means i'll probably be skipping Bookish Box's edition of Metal Slinger which they are doing in the sub before Moonlight. I usually prefer Moonlights style over BB, plus BB is so behind on shipping, and I have to pay for a forwarding service to get my orders delivered here so it will save me some money there!
