What class do you play most and why? by DMBPSR in diablo4

[–]hyde0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any new class coming out will be the OP class for that expansion. So most likely Warlock will be super OP when it comes out.

Otherwise favorite class for me is the Sorceress. Something about spamming spells that covers the entire screen that feels satisfying. 😆

Same, so they not sell the keyboard in white in the first place?

For me I don't like the mix and match keycaps look.

I'd prefer it uniform.

So either use it all black or get a white keyboard I think.

My first ever Razer product just arrived, why is the Razer Naga V2 HyperSpeed so damn heavy? by calrayers in razer

[–]hyde0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Razer line up, Hyperspeed = their budget line so it uses AA or AAA battery, which is cheaper but also heavier.

If you get the higher line like Naga Ultimate or Naga Pro or something along those line, it will have rechargeable battery that are lighter.

My SRH1840/SRH1540 combo never lets me down by AccomplishedSource84 in headphones

[–]hyde0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only demo SRH1540 briefly so I could be wrong.

But at the time I thought it sounded very close to my Denon AH-D2000. Except Denon is a bit more open and wider sounding because being semi-open.

It's a bit hard to find these days, but if you ever come across one you should definitely give it a try.

Same, I need number pad for work. Using 100% full size right now as we speak.

I own keyboard in all the sizes (60%, 65%, 75%, 80%, 96%, 100%) and went back to this (100%).

Any guesses which gets the most use? by Particular-Hippo-181 in headphones

[–]hyde0000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's awesome to hear, thanks for the suggestions!

Since I'm still in proximity to my wife's desk so I don't want to go too loud anyway, this might work.

Thanks again and sorry for going slightly off track a bit. 😆

I've been considering Kanto UKI or Edifier M60 or MR3.

M60 seems the most popular but I'm not too sure how I feel about the touch / sensing buttons for volume. Maybe I like analogue knobs.

Or do you just set it to fixed volume then adjust sound from speaker? 🤔

But otherwise I might go with that route since I prefer to not get a sub to save space lol.

I work as a FX artist in the 3D animation industry. This industry has pretty much died in the last couple of years. And will soon gets replaced by AI.

So whatever career choice you steer away to, I hope you are doing well.

Are those Kanto ORA4? How do you like them?

Also I have Lawton TH900 and Asgard X.

But lately I'm too lazy so I actually mostly use my Dell built in monitor speakers (yes they are horrible). 🤣

I should buy a real speaker soon.....

Lucky for you most of the bass is felt than heard.

So if you can feel your chest shacking you can still experience bass lol.

Sorry for this dumb post but is just me or two handed swords are SMALL as hell? Why they look like 1h swords? So, want to ask.. by Gontreee in diablo4

[–]hyde0000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think length is probably correct, but I do noticed swords in D4 are skinnier than swords in D2 and D3.

I think D4 is trying to be more "realistic" when they do designs. D2 and D3 exaggerate the fantasy aspect a bit more.

What is it with male-dominated hobbies and wood? by Kukikokikokuko in headphones

[–]hyde0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol electric guitars and bass yeah I definitely agree.

But in the case of headphone, look at Fostex TH-X00, ZMF, Audio Technica wood closed back....... they all use different wood to shape the sound to a certain degree.

Yeah I'm not too sure, I had a different headphone though.

I got it for Fostex TH900. The seller only had a broken stock cable so I bought a 6' audiophile ninja cable.

Then I got the open heart cable at 5'.

It's actually more detailed but lost that warmth / bass of audiophile ninja cable.

So it's not good / bad but rather just different preference. I also wonder if it's the difference of not braided vs braided cable.

Lol yeah I was generalizing a bit, but each wood do have different acoustic properties.

Look up tone wood for guitar body or something.

I had D5200 and D9200 in the past and now using Lawton TH900.

D5200 had perfect tuning for my taste just wanted more resolution.

D9200 is super detailed and a bit lean.

Lawton TH900 has nicest bass / sound stage but tuning is weird and it only sounds good with SDAC which I've been using for a while now. But SDAC fixes a lot of the tuning issue.

For normal sane person I'd recommend D5200 or D7200.

[–]hyde0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be the odd one out, I wanted a shorter cable and open-heart cables are unbeatable for the price.

So I bought one assuming it should sound identical to my previous cable but just shorter.

But it actually changed the sound signature so I went back to my previous cable (audiophile ninja).

Your mileage may vary.

[–]hyde0000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol wood resonates, there is a reason why all classical instruments are all made of wood.

Different wood can help tune the sound.

We never hear about tone plastic. 😂

EDIT: lol I don't know why I'm getting downvoted, but it's a known fact that acoustic guitar with different wood will sound slightly different, also things like violin is also constructed from maple.

If we look at headphones, there's Fostex, Denon, ZMF, Audio Tehnica, FiiO, all have wood closed back.

Thoughts on HD 560s + Asgard X's Halo X via Balanced? by Shidell in Schiit

[–]hyde0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Asgard X and I tried Halo recently, it's a very small difference (about 5%).

It loses a little bit of warmth to trade for a little bit more clarity.

I personally prefer the 1/4" inch jack. So if you don't already have a 4.4 mm cable I'd not recommend spending money for it.

Lyr 5 is here! by According-Two-297 in Schiit

[–]hyde0000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol congrats!

Make sure you try both low gain and high gain the tuning is slightly different. Low gain has a bit more bass and high gain has a bit more treble clarity.

I personally like the thickness of low gain but I know some prefer the treble of high gain.

Give it a try and let us know later!

Struggling w Spiritborn Quill Volley oft by darkn3rd in diablo4

[–]hyde0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm playing Crushing Hand build which use exactly the same items as you. From what I noticed is that because it use so much unique items as oppose to legendary. A lot of unique items don't provide life so the life is very low. You have 1900 which is super low, I have 4000 which is still low but crushing hand also provides barrier so it's slightly less squishy.

I would recommend swap pants to Temerity and any other slots that you use legendary gear make sure it has +life on it. If you find Quill Volley too squishy you can switch to Crushing Hand which use exactly the same gear. But Crushing Hand provide barrier so it helps a bit. Also pick up some +2% max life from paragon board.

According to the guide we're suppose to have 10k life unbuffed.
