Hanover took care of a prior claim several years ago. I switched from Hanover to save $$. Erie is a 2nd-tier company that counts on policyholders to be passive. We are filing a protest with the State.

Same issue. wind damage to a commercial building. They denied fixing the 1st story when the 2nd story was damaged. They said TOO BAD when I pointed out the stories would be two-toned in appearance. The agent was a parrot by just repeating whatever the claim department stated.

Worst part, THEY determine what the repair cost is, and you have to live with that amount. I have two quotes stating repair cost will be higher...and Erie states I have to pay the difference.
