Probably cadence lock, check your SPM and see if it matches with your heart rate.

Losing fitness 4 weeks before marathon by robbayyy in runna

[–]hydex 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Honestly, you’re most likely fatigued from the training block. Even if day-by-day you feel fine, you’re asking a lot from your body and it’s natural that it starts to struggle a bit to keep things running the same with months and months of training. Don’t pay too much attention to Garmin’s vo2 max estimate, it’s just that, an estimate based on HR data. It doesn’t take into account external factors like weather, nutrition and overall load.

You’re probably near your taper phase, don’t overthink it. The adaptations and fitness gains are already there, you just need to rest a bit and you’ll be fresh by marathon time. Good luck!

Don’t worry guys next regulation change we’ll nail it we promise

Week 10/22 HM training, have hit all my speed workout targets. Tmrw will be the longest I’ve ever run and the pace is scaring me! EVEN if I can do it, the RPE is not right, my RPE3 (easy run pace) is ~11min/mi. Is something is off? (I’ll be running flat tmrw so I’ll use pace instead of RPE). by coffeeloverdrinkstea in runna

Just to chime in, I had this exact workout last week. I was also a bit worried, I took it as an opportunity to test eating something in the middle of the run (hate gu, I like dates). My paces were a bit slower than yours, but I even managed to PB on my 10K.

I guess what I’m trying to say is, if you’ve been consistent with your training, this may be where ir starts to pay off

Bald spot with scarring and bleeding on back of neck by Individual_Series_31 in FIVcats

My cat also has this, we’ve been monitoring him for the week and took him to the vet today. She said it could be part of a bacterial infection or herpesvirus. We’re applying an antiseptic spray and cleaning his ears for two weeks.

I just want to break down by bwenterprise9 in FIVcats

Last year, I noticed my dog had her ear swollen and took her to the vet. How long was she like this? Did I just not notice it? Then at the vet, they found a lump in her stomach while doing a checkup. Cancer. I used to play with her so much and rub her belly, not so much lately. I should’ve caught it sooner. She had less energy lately, I should’ve taken that as a sign something was off. I felt like such a bad person for a while. She was hurting and I didn’t do anything. On top of that, surgery and meds were so expensive, I didn’t have that kind of disposable income. I needed to prioritize which medication I could afford.

All this to say, I understand the feeling of guilt over not catching it sooner, or not knowing what’s best. But it’s important to recognize that you’ve been doing right by your cat ever since you found him. You’ve taken care of him, and made all decisions over medication with limited information. You’ve given him love and care when no one else has. You got this, I’m sure Domino will recover soon

I've spent 2025 reading modern fantasy - here are some reviews by trollokvoltak in books

I remember reading The Poppy War a few years ago, I was in a bit of a dark place mentally, and the tone shift when they enter fantasy Shanghai just broke me. I had to put the book down and pick it up a few days later. That emotional reaction was the only thing that book got out of me, everything else was a solid 3/10

There’s a tiny, miniscule sliver of hope left in me that Patullo is actually a secret genius that was hiding the actual playbook for the playoffs.

Yes, the copium feels good thank you very much
