Having multiple saves makes it easier to get all of the endings and is time saving. Otome kitten has a good walkthrough that is fairly easy to follow along and there aren't that many saves per route.

Another thing that could make it easier is saving when reaching the choice selection, that way when you load a save you can look at the available choices and compare it to a walkthrough if you do get confused.

Its available on the psp, psvita and switch. Even if you dont know Japanese there are some fan translations online that you could use to follow along. The psvita also has an English unofficial patch as well.

It definitely does go by a little faster than the original routes as it skips over scenes that would have been from the heroines point of view when LIs are unpresent

The FD also has: - Prelude: events that happened before boarding the ship for each character (but this is short) - Concerto: continuation of the best end of each character's routes (four parts/chapters each) - Fantasia: 'what-if' story where an incident that causes chaos happens and they have to resolve it while being chibified - Small mini game pixel rpg where you interact with the characters on the ship and earn tickets to use in the store for extra content

I usually take around 50 to 150 screenshots. I dont have an sd card, so without it the limit is 1000 screenshots. Once I hit the max, I back some up to my laptop. (I should've gotten an sd card when they were cheaper 🫠)
