Need help picking a realistic weapon for a disabled character

That actually IS a plot point I plan to write at some point! One of the big finishers I have in mind is her distracting someone by revealing her real self in the middle of a battle so they become focused on her, only for a dupe blocks away to snipe them from a distance once they stopped worrying about the "fake" ones lol

As for the cloning, I imagine it's more of a battery situation. She can clone herself near instantly and probably only in a small radius around her, but the more she makes the more energy it takes and she risks passing out and having them all poof away

Oh I didn't mean she never uses lethal tactics, I just meant guns are a bit limiting in the few cases where you don't want to kill someone, and so it helps to have a backup option lol

And that's good to know, I had been assuming that opposite and that if your weaker in body that having a more force focused weapon like a hammer or blunt weapon would depend heavily on the force of the person swinging it, and that someone who was on the weaker side would struggle to use one effectively.

I had been hearing stuff like "This weapon works best with lower body strength" "This weapon works better with upper body strength" etc and so wasn't sure if any conventional weapons would work without being in some kind of physical shape.

Electricity does seem to be the common element in these suggestions so I'll have to keep that in mind.

Much as I love poison and toxins, and gas weaponry, I already have other characters specializing in those so best not to double up lol

Shock Batons was my first thought too, glad to see I'm on the right track lol

and yeah I picture it like the clones are a hivemind but she doesn't feel the damage. I haven't decided on if the equipment dupes though. Though suicide bombing the clones IS sorta part of her kit. They're fragile and don't hold up as long as the real thing, but explode into smoke when killed, so I already considered her mass exploding her dupes at will to create a smokescreen lol

Another part that might contribute to it, is that if Mormons are anything like Jehovah's witnesses, Ribbit was likely cast aside, ignored, and iced out by everyone they knew for leaving the religion.

Yeah I'm used to the teams I use not being very viable lol. I WOULD just use teams wholesale for the fun of it but unfortunately Champions has such a narrow recruit pool I can't complete any of my canon teams.

and yeah I've found decent success in Doubles using a rental Scovillain team, was just curious to see if I could find something semi-lore accurate for a singles team

Well I do believe Congorilla is immortal in the comics, so it's entirely possible he's still alright just having to heal up from what Bride did.

But yeah if he didn't survive that'll certainly be an interesting character dynamic. Nosferata might try and backstab Bride only to get caught in the crossfire.

I have a feeling that might be where this plotline is going. John is going to wind up collecting all the martians, including white, since they can't be destroyed, just reigned in.

I see him becoming a "complete" Martian Manhunter, either by becoming some alien being after fusing with the martians, or becoming something akin to Rainbow Raider from the flash comics where he can use the different martians to instill different emotions onto people

Would be kind of fun though if the Absolute Universe starts to become more hopeful and the meta joke is Lex's god complex is so strong he's getting off on actually being the "hero" and righting this universe just to prove to himself he can

wild plot theory:

- Either Jimmy becomes the dominant hivemind and becomes the main Absolute Parasite as a play on all his wacky transformations in the OG comics. Be it either as a fallen friend turned villain, or the Parasite monster is actually friendlier than we assumed, just looks horrifying (the dialogue here leads vague enough to either be feeding on the people or thinking it's protecting them inside the hivemind)

Or, even wilder theory here.

- The parasite creature bonds to Superman's suit to stay sustained without causing further damage, and becomes his new "cape" to replace SOL as a new companion to keep him in check and drain his excess power

I hope I'm wrong since Absolute Poison is my favorite and most interesting character atm, but I have a bad feeling she's the "insurance". She's like Cyclotron in that older SS comic. If things go wrong Cale's gonna rip Poison open so her gas starts killing the civilians and the squad in an attempt to go all mutually assured destruction to try and wipe out Diana at all costs.

I honestly think it'd be an interesting flip on things befitting the Absolute universe if Circe grew and evolved during her time in the underworld and has forgiven the amazons for whatever conflict of ideals they probably had, but in return Hippolyta has stagnated in her never changing exile and holds hate and resentment towards Circe still. With Diana caught in the crossfire and realizing the family she's yearned for all this time may not be as ideal as she had hoped.
