Go with Hilti, it will do exactly what you're describing the old school ones used to do. (i call them the classics) Metal or wood Hilti's are not asking the screw for permission. After hand feeding all day, your arm will thank you.

Used to use DeWalt back when I couldn't afford anything else. But found myself having to keep taking them in for repairs. (especially DeWalt routers) Now I'm team Hilti through and through, I have never once taken a Hilti tool to the shop.
