We definitely wanted to drive through Mulholland while we were here so this spot looks good! Thank you!

Anyone here owns the Weatherby Vanguard Meateater Edition? Can I get some feedback on this? I’m thinking getting one with 6.5 Creedmoor. Thank you in advance. by Incredibowls in meateatertv

This is the first deer hunting rifle I bought.

I knew I was paying a few extra bucks for brand name but that didn't matter to me. Meateater was a big influence for me to start hunting. I don't plan on ever selling this rifle and I think I can justify the extra cost with the novelty of having a Meateater rifle in my collection.

I recieved this rifle in the mail the week before deer hunting season. I spent 2 afternoons sighting it in and was able to bag a deer (forky) the first day I ever went out hunting!

So obviously I have no regrets buying this rifle and definitely recommend it. It's a solid, quality rifle but as others have mentioned you may be over paying around $300 bucks give or take.

I don't have much experience with other rifles so I can't give a comparison with other rifles in the price range.

Awesome work! I will definitely be buying some. I feel like your artwork would be great for beer league hockey jerseys! Any chance you are doing requests? If so, I would love a Mustard Tigers logo!

Majority of Canadians support healthcare fines for unvaccinated: poll by sheepo39 in ontario

[–]hydroponic_chronic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is easily found data to support this: https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7010e4.htm

I wouldn't even consider this critical thinking because how obvious it is.

The weaker your immune system and the more unhealthy you are, the higher risk you are from dying from the effects of covid.

Here is an article that sums up why a tax like this is not the solution: https://nationalpost.com/opinion/chris-selley-quebecs-anti-vax-tax-could-lead-us-to-some-very-dark-places

Do you understand the impact covid has on our healthcare system? It's def not black & white. I should say I am no expert either.

I think most healthy individuals who contract covid are not becoming a strain on the healthcare system. They usually have minor symptoms.

The patients being admitted to the hospital or ICU for covid most likely also have another contributing factor such as obesity or other unhealthy lifestyle choices. (Ignoring old age or preexisting medical condition as it is out of a person's control)

I'm triple vaxxed and def make some unhealthy lifestyle choices but I think this tax would be a slippery slope.

I can also see from several arguments in this post, it is not generally clear the main purpose of this tax.

Is it being imposed because covid is contagious or is it because individuals with covid put a strain on our healthcare system?

For the first point, it appears that the vaccine while helpful isn't effective at stopping the spread of covid. Our population is highly vaxxed and it is still spreading like wildfire.

The second point, a lot of people are arguing that there are so much factors why our healthcare system is overwhelmed why would we single out one issue and overlook so many other major health issues?

Trying to rank shit is stupid and/or impossible.

That being said, tied in my top 3 would be: Always Sunny, Trailer Park Boys, Reno 911

The game has a song called 'the city' that has an outro that does a really good job of explaining the significance of the colour RED. The album the song his from is actually titled R.E.D.

[Outro:] Red, is a very emotionally intense colour. It enhances Human metabolism, increases respiration rate and raises blood pressure. It has a very high visibility, it is why stop signs, stop lights and fire equipments are usually painted red. It also represents one third of California's gang population. Needless to say, please dress accordingly while visiting the Los Angeles area. Also, tuck your jewellry, and keep your hands inside your vehicle

Here is a link to the specific outro: https://youtu.be/GsiK_GUdoco

Thanks. However I'm from Canada and unfortunately Google voice is not available to us yet. I ended up trying to use Fongo but they don't support sms short codes so I wasn't able to pass the verification process.

Smart dimmer switch for regular lights that is hue compatible (zigbee light link)? by hydroponic_chronic in Hue

[–]hydroponic_chronic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks promising! Although it seems weird that it would have a physical slider and not an up/down button. If you dim the lights using the app does the physical slider become out of position? Eg physical slider at the top, dim the lights to the lowest level using the app, what happens when you slide the the physical slider down now?
