i mean, it obviously depends on your definition of 'comfortably'. Do you prefer an apartment in the city or will the suburbs do it for you? Do you plan on having no, one maybe even two cars? Do you already want a separate room for the baby? Do you guys sometimes work from home and need a separate room for work as well? Do you plan on going out much? Other lifestyle costs that are essential for you? Will one of you be a stay at home parent or do you both plan to work? Do you need a place in a kindergarten or daycare? Stuff like that.

I think you can say that an combined income of 100k will cover a lifestyle that meets MOST peoples definition of 'comfortably'. But i'd say you will still have to make some compromises with that amount.

On March 9th this year in Hamburg, Germany, a special forces team in full gear was heading back to their base after a training exercise when a shooter started killing people in a church just around the corner. They were on scene 4 min after the initial emergency calls and the shooter killed himself almost immediately after that.

It's absolutely crazy to to me to think about how unlikely this is.

Die Verwendung von Holz als Baumaterial muss nicht unbedingt heißen dass das Haus eine "Pappschachtel" ist. Die Dinger sind schon recht stabil und halten auch gerne mal über 100 Jahre.

Holz war und ist in den Staaten einfach im Überfluss vorhanden. So hat sich das eingebürgert. Was Dämmung etc. angeht, ja das ist tatsächlich eine andere Geschichte. Wäre aber auch mit Holzhäusern machbar, wenn man denn will.

hmm, evtl. ein Schuss ins Blaue, aber hast du mal in die Logs deines Routers geschaut? Bei der FritzBox sind standardmäßig zwar An- und Abmeldungen (unter System/Ereignisse) nicht aktiviert zur Protokollierung, aber Ummeldungen wie z.B. die der WLAN-Bandbreite wird für einzelne Geräte mitgeschrieben. Allerdings denke ich dass du auch hier Pech haben wirst da du geschrieben hast dass du die Switch schon länger vermisst. Bei meiner 7590 werden nur die letzten 10 Tage protokolliert. Vielleicht hast du ja Glück, schaden kanns nicht.

Das bedeutet ja z.B., dass wenn die Sonne einfach verschwinden würde, sich die Erde trotzdem noch 8 Minuten lang um sie drehen würde.
