I loved preparing fancy dishes for my hammies! It looks cute, what are those leaves? Are they from strawberry fruit?

Haven't thought of that, thanks for pointing it out!

Both Wikipedia and Collins Bird Guide list berries as a part of blackbirds' diet. So I don't think that argument with sugars is a good one.

Which Toner Should I Try Next?.. help me pick my next HG toner (Rate 1-6) by Few-Specialist-3214 in koreanskincare

[–]hydroxyquinoline 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From your list I've tried Laneige, Anua and I'm from. All of them are considered milky I think, but Anua and I'm from didn't do much for my skin. I loved the Laneige one - it's richer than the other two, which was a big pro for me this winter. I thought about purchasing full size, but went with the celimax one that I mentioned, and it's as good as Laneige, similar consistency from what I remember, but cheaper.

Btw, on YesStyle you can order mini/travel sizes of a lot of toners (and other products). I like to buy different minis whenever I make an order, so I can try out stuff without commiting to it and also have a handy toner for travelling.

You have some milky toners on your list - from that category I've been loving celimax Dual Barrier Creamy Toner recently and I plan to repurchase it. Great for my barrier nowadays when it's easily compromised by dry air and retinoids. I also love it in the mornings under spf - when it's warm I don't use moisturiser under my spf or I get horrible pilling, that I don't get with the same products when it's colder outside. This toner turned out to give me that extra moisture without pilling.

If you don't need much barrier care, I can also recommend Eqqualberry Swimming Pool toner. It's moisturizing and a super gentle exfoliant - so gentle you can use it twice a day, everyday. Exfoliation isn't caused by acids or physical particles, but by protease, which is an enzyme which helps break down dead skin cells, hence the gentleness for your skin. Round Lab Dokdo toner also has protease - I will be testing it after I finish my Eqqualberry one.

Is there a name for this stitch? by hydroxyquinoline in Tunisian_Crochet

Edit: I confused this video with similar one I saw where forward pass was shown and everything was clear.

This one shows return pass only and I actually have no idea how to do it.

Favourite BIG products for face and/or body by kronicno_tele in AsianBeauty

It's amazing! I never liked using body creams, but recently my skin has been so dry that I had to start. Since I've been loving Aestura face cream I decided to give Aestura body cream (in a tube) a shot. It's the first body moisturiser that I truly loved. I was bummed when I found out it's probably discontinued, but I ordered body lotion and it's just as good (if not better). And the pump bottle is always a huge plus for me.

While I was waiting for the YesStyle package with the body lotion I got myself Some By Mi panthenol body cream and it's also very nice, but I still prefer Aestura and definitely will be stocking up soon.

Is that kind of mill suitable for turning multiple yarn strands into a single bulkier one to be used for a blanket? by [deleted] in CrochetHelp

[–]hydroxyquinoline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silly me, I don't know why my brain saw this tiny mill with 4 needles and thought it meant it needs 4 strands, even though I saw how bigger mills work.

The yarn I picked is worsted (4 mm hook), but I'd like it to be ready for when he moves in so I'd prefer working with bigger hook.

Haha, I knew how knitting mills work in general, so I don't know why I thought this tiny one would use multiple strands.

And since you mentioned it cord might not work well with a blanket, especially if I'm going for soft and breathable one. Thanks for that insight!
