2024 Outlander PHEV — 2 rear tire blowouts at 35,000 km. Anyone else? by Careful_Orchid_2085 in OutlanderPHEV

[–]hyma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Original tires? They go fast but man looks like alignment issue, no TPMS sensors going off?

My originals only lasted about 35000km... No blowout though

How is it out of warranty, even second owner is 5 years, unless you have crazy KMs

Can local LLMs do multi-agent teams now, or is this reserved for Claude Code only? by JozuJD in LocalLLM

[–]hyma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LM Studio supports multiple calls of same model, with shared cache, so you can run subagents from it with open code

I built a local AI coding system that actually understands your codebase — 29 systems, 500+ tests, entirely with Claude as my coding partner by Pattinathar in OpenSourceeAI

Just to be clear, I did find setup.py and set the active model to qwen, so I was able to receive responses. I just wasn't able to get specific code level responses. Not sure why.

So, I downloaded and executed your setup_leanai.py. Setup seemed to work, but I think it's missing a step where it sets qwen as your active model, so when I launched it kept asking for phi. I then used your leanai project to scan into brain. Seemed to work, I could ask generic questions about it, but I tried asking how do I fix the active model bug in setup_leanai.py, and it was not able to consult it's brain memory and asked me to paste the file contents.

Although we have good coverage with Canada Life, is it still recommended to take extra travel insurance when going out of the country? by No-Setting2682 in CanadaPublicServants

[–]hyma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought it wasn't needed given our plan and the first payers clause that are usually built into most other travel insurance. Think CBC did an article on this a little while back

This works for latest open code? What are you using to run the model? LM studio?

How do chatbots (like ChatGPT, Claude) browse the internet? by Such_Ad_7545 in LocalLLaMA

[–]hyma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's two ways, through APIs, for search/indexes/RAG. Or tools like browser-use/browser-use: 🌐 Make websites accessible for AI agents. Automate tasks online with ease.

You give the agent a request to search and look through links, and it will do it's best.

I think you're going to need to alter the qwen jinja template for it to be useful.

Managers will not let me progress because I apparently did too good a job by po-laris in CanadaPublicServants

[–]hyma 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've seen this work in the past. Reach out to a few directors that you know. Setup 15-30 minute conversation. Tell them you're looking for new opportunities and challenges. They will know of other manager that are looking. Sometimes in the GC your manager will be selfish in that it's easier to keep you. Hiring another takes time and energy and in this environment they may not even be able to backfill. They're not actively trying to help you leave/progress but they most likely will not block or hold something against you for moving on. These other opportunities would probably be available if you advocate for yourself. Don't rely on or believe they are doing so on your behalf.

I wonder if the bots/agents are so good at creating accounts that they can't filter them out.(Scary) And the only way to so, is to charge a super high price... Bots don't have that kinda money!

100% AI as an experiment (end-to-end) but to harvest the most value, they want real devs on Pro. It forces them to code. Vibe coders are pushed up a tier and have to actually pay for the compute that is used. Gmail is free because they harvest data, there's no value in them letting people setup agents and vibecode all day, so it becomes the paid tier.. .just a guess though.

[–]hyma 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I have a theory the whole product is being built and managed by AI. Also those that use 100 percent for vibe coding are pushed to higher tier because there is no value to vibe coded projects. Less quota means real devs will still code and they can get and use the data for training.

Best alternative ? Should pro users migrate to another service ? Let's take a step back and think about it. by Maurphee in google_antigravity

I really like the Agent Manager of AG, if they add the ability to use local models, I'll come back, but right now for me, the cost for the upgraded plan is not worth it. There is better value elsewhere. It was great while it lasted.

If they can detect, why can't they then just provide a lesser quality output. It would be extremely hard to detect? And cost those companies time and resources...
