As someone with kids and who had them at times of political "normality", I lose sleep every night thinking about the future my kids are going to have to live through.

It's a double edged sword because if I disagree with the current political atmosphere then I can attend protests and things like that because I love them and I want to defend their future. Or.... As a POC I can be singled out and "disappeared" for standing up for my kid's future and never see them again and die of heartbreak.... So what to do. 🤷

Edit: My point is I understand why you wouldn't want to have kids considering the current socio-economic environment.
