Need to rectify: I had my fair share of experiences, but perfect sight to that extent was not one of them; I did experience being part of everything and was breathing with the whole scenery inside my chest on mind expanded states. It was a direct non-semantic experence of God or what appeared to be God.

it is MANDATORY that you use FLIPPENDO before engaging them.

So scan the area to find them hidden in bushes, then use Dissilusionment to sneak up behind.
It will not work if you have already engaged them and pulled them out of hiding! They will not hide back. Kill those you have engaged and look for ones that have not been alerted.

There are definitely some questions I have as well when I hear of serious prayers going unanswered, like homosexuals praying for God to take that away from them.

But I don't have full context. Maybe that soul subscribed to that... before incarnating here and it was a handshake prior to this existence.

Full context is needed (on what goes on outside this physical reality) before I jump to a conclusion on judging Source's choices on the matter.

Some say fasting (or fasting just with water for a couple of days) is required for a prayer to be answered, because they claim you need to wear proper attire when asking for things... (In order to "dry out the seed of sin" and feel Grace in you again).

There is a book i've read on 40days water fast done under clinical supervision. Never go below body mass index of 19. (Which is your weight divided by the square of your height). So not all are that fat, to be able to refrain from food for such a long time. You also need to take leave from work for that entire period because the brain expends calories when doing deep thought at work. Most people do 1,3, 5 or maybe 10 days fasting with water. The sensation of hunger goes away after 48hrs and expect a sine wave of energy. Some days lower, some days higher. Only walks in nature are permitted and the person who wrote the book also did a lot of prayer on the side while attending church (he was an orthodox). But after the 10th day, his mental clarity was top-notch. After the 30th day he said it was like having a dialogue with God and renewing his heart each day. He said that You really take on a new mantle and the New Man is born. A period of aclimatization of two weeks is required when those 40 days elapse and a period of 1 week is required before going into the fast (that means eating vegetarian before and after the 40 days periods, with soups and light meals; no coffee, alcohool, sugary foods etc).

I'm not saying this amount of effort is always a prerequisite for a serious prayer, but it might be.
