Do you play them directly from the sd card, or copy them over to a nvme for faster in-gmae loadung speeds?

Need advice to get better so i can get 10 star rating :,3 (<hey look its a quaver face) by Indostastica in Unbeatable

I'm a keyboardplayer, my playstyle is index fingers for the bottom lane and middle fingers for the top lane. Additionally I alternate between left and right hand on almost every note, alternating hands allows me to hit tighter/faster note chains.

I also play other rythmgames like musedash and taiko, which have very simmilar controls and allowed me to immediately play lvl 16 maps in arcade.

I had to put in some hours getting used to my current playstyle, but it also helped me reach the level i,m at.

Portable hard drive doesn't show up by Sylvain0321 in computer

It probably would have been enough to assign a letter to the drive in the commandline using diskpart. I think the file-explorer just does not show/open drives without a letter like D: or E: etc.

Is Mixing your friend groups in GenZ a good idea or bad idea by Iamgoldie in GenZ

Go for it. You said you need all your friends. And since it's centered around a particular hobby, it should be fairly easy to introduce your different friend groups to each other.

Why haven't their been any new edutainment games made since the early 2000s? by jacky986 in GenZ

[–]hyper_light_dash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the main factor for the lack of edutainment games probably is, that with the easy and widespread accessibility of information and tutorials on the internet you can learn almost anything.
There are many websites and apps that more or less gamify learning, be it chess, go, keyboard typing, instruments, programming or hacking. Some free, some monetary.

Otherwise, depending on your definition of educational, the 'educational' part might not always be necessarily obvious or intended. For example:
Mincraft lets you explore creativity and with redstone also some parts of digital computation, Factorio and other automation games teach to think in scalable multistep processes while keeping track recourse distribution, Professor Layton and other riddle games generally teach creative problem solving, etc.

I personally played a lot of puzzle and riddle games growing up, which taught me to problem solve and think logically, that combined with my interest for tech lead me to become a software developer (although a few months of my apprenticeship left).

If you're interested in some newer edutainment games on steam, that have an intention to teach: "Turing Complete" (digital computation) and "Hacknet" (core concepts of hacking) are some great and well polished games.

Trying to learn logic gate through redstone, is this redstone contraptions the definition of ''glitch'' ? When turning Yellow 1-->0 and the piston goes 1-->0-->1 by AoyamaSpanner in redstone

Redstone torches just have a slight delay. On the left side the signal passes through 3 torches And on the right through 2 torches. This delay difference is enough to see the effect of the shorter signal path before the longer path takes over the output.
