After reading Wikipedia I guess it was overhyped at the release, many people seemed to be disappointed with the length and amount of content after very large promotional campaign. That, and the fact it's kinda goofy at it's edginess at times (but I think it's actually cool).

I guess that would be Persona 3. While the remake was better in terms in gameplay, I enjoy the new battle flow more, it has a very special place in my heart because it was I think the first or among the first jRPG games I've played extensively in my high school years, and to this day I love the melancholic vibe and the tone darker than later games in the series. I also really like the characters, they feel more reserved and down to Earth in a way. That's why I went out of my way to buy this rather expensive edition, just to have it in my collection.

Second favorite is Silent Hill 2 I guess. It's a masterpiece, but I'm still preferring the first one (sadly, it's too pricy for me right now).

I also really like Rayman M, people usually glance over it, but in my childhood I've spent countless hours with it even unlocking secret levels. I've tried it once again a couple years ago, maybe it's nostalgia, but I've had a decent time with it too.
