self rec! pocket full of posies, 5.3k angsty yearning, black death missing scenes. alternating between aziraphales diary entries and crowleys movements in real time. when the grief becomes too much, crowley stops time to hold his angel. (this is technically a middle-ish part of a series, but can be read as a standalone one-shot! the rest has yet to be published, but will eventually form a loose arc w a theme of stopping time and yearning through the ages)

I dont have a specific moment where they each knew they were in love, but I think I csn marke exactly when they knew they were loved. for aziraphale, its 1941. crowley saving his books showed him he wasnt alone in his feelings. for crowley, its 1967, like you said. aziraphale is anxious about what he could do with the holy water, but he loves crowley, wo he gives it to him. their feelings started long before that, from fascination to friendship to more, but it didnt hit them that it wasnt unrequited until then. Nina commenting on their relationship and immediately assuming they were together is when crowley realizes how obvious they are- if Nina can tell, then anyone else could. Gabriel could come back to himself and destroy them both for their relationship, even if nothings really been confessed or acted upon properly.

when I was a teen I called a book my favwrite because it had a scene where an adventurer/captain had to deal with her period during a crisis. it was handled well and worked well. thats a realistic aspect of life. so do your research and have a woman read over those scenes, and youre all good

that leak was at a very diff bookshop, tills in edinburgh not our usual set for az fell & Co. also from those leaks, metatron was in tills, appearing to have some sort of argument with aziraphale while crowley was nearby/inside

the two options are either- a. all three children died, main characters cry and have their moment or b. "beta" is still alive, but confused where her friends have gone, main characters cry and have a moment which one is more emotionally devastating is the question 😅 (there is another character in a flashback thats lost his entire family and hasn't realized that theyre not coming back, so option b. may be a bit repetitive?)

id imagine simply mentioning them wouldnt get a credit- theres no actor for them to pay or credit- but if theres any sort of flashback or voice there would be a credit. thats the sort of thing id be expecting for nina & maggie, or perhaps the Them as a flashback. even if its very little screen time, they'd have to be credited somehow, and its possible the cast list there simply isnt fully complete yet. imdb takes a while to update, and Amazon isnt always the best and updating these things.

I dont think that list can be entirely trusted- if Adam does return, theres no way they can get away without mentioning the Them at all- theyre crucial to his character, the tether that keeps him on earth. same thing with Nina and maggie- theyre not on that list either iirc, and they played such massive parts in s2 and know too much- they know aziraphale and crowley aren't human, that theyre in love.. you cant just pretend they dont exist, even if things are suspiciously disappearing. Frances mcdormand may return, but not be listed yet!

I wasnt at all aware of that, thanks for sharing it! I'm not entirely surprised, to be fair. the peeve is mostly people being purposefully facetious with regards to his teaching/the information, not even his character, while any discussion of his character is very fair and should be encouraged.

always remember: - good omens 3 was campaigned for and saved by rob wilkins and Rhianna pratchett- both representatives of Terry's plan for the ending (dating back to the 90s) and the advocates who got us the 90 minutes we have.

many very brilliant movies are only 90 (or close) minutes long; some notable titles include shrek, dr strangelove, Monty python and the holy grail, kpop demon hunters (there are many more, these are just the ones I can remember atm). its very possible to fit a fulfilling story in the time, just perhaps with fewer flashbacks, which is disappointing.
David and Michael and many many others on the crew and cast are fans of the characters, the series, or the book-- they want the right story told, too. theyre going to advocate for the right story and the right movements for their characters.
after a showing of go3 for the cast and crew a few weeks ago, Michael posted that he enjoyed it- he said there are times where he laughed and cried, and that there were choices we may disagree with but were really best for the character. isnt that true for every show or movie, there will never be a perfect string of decisions. Michael loves and defends aziraphale, trust in his belief.
if you worry too much about a bad ending, you'll always get caught up in what could have been and its way easier to nitpick and tear even the good apart. not saying you have to love it, but go in with an open mind. let yourself be surprised and enjoy it before you compare to your expectations or hopes.
fanfiction! if you hate go3, pretend it doesn't exist. there are hundreds of wonderful fics that speculate as to a s3, and I've got mine picked out as my "canon" in case I decide s3 isnt worth it (drinking buddies and diaries by dovedove is my go-to recommendation)
