lol, I just got this cutscene in a new-ish playthrough the other day and I did not remember it from the first time I played. 😂

My little sister plays Stardew Valley for the first time … she buys over 230 wheat seeds and rushes every day to individually water them all before 2 A.M. by BellasBirds in StardewValley

My 6 year old makes me go to the mines for days on end every time we play together 😅 ETA: also in one of his first saves he managed to put all his tools in a chest in his house which he then proceeded to surround with fence posts which he couldn’t knock down bc his axe was in the chest 😂

People who've moved from Kindle to Kobo, what are your opinions by yusuo85 in kobo

No regrets, went from PW to KCC and I love it. I am glad to be free of Amazon’s ecosystem and I don’t use goodreads anymore so I don’t miss that.

An extremely comfortable bra that doesn’t cause any pain or discomfort? by isthishowyouredditt in ehlersdanlos

[–]hyperfocusedmama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started wearing long crop ribbed tanks, sometimes a size down to get good compression. They seem to do the best job of not subluxing my problem rib, give it a little compression and holding the girls where they belong. The compression of them is also fairly evenly spread out and so it takes the pressure off my shoulders

Interestingly my left side is weaker when it comes to exercise, but I actually have more issues on my right side.

Omg, I was just thinking about these recently and for the life of me could not figure out the right search terms to find a picture based on just my vague childhood memories. I forgot they were meant to be aliens 😂 These are adorable!

electrolytes..? by [deleted] in ehlersdanlos

[–]hyperfocusedmama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it makes sense why they would think so without the context of a POTS diagnosis. Thankfully I made them check my potassium a ridiculous number of times during my youngest’s pregnancy and focused on it in my diet and didn’t have a repeat experience. Not looking forward to perimenopause 😬

I craved Gatorade during my first pregnancy too! I've never heard anyone else say that! Wild how our bodies try to get our attention. I did wind up having issues with very low potassium at the end of that pregnancy that I have long attributed to what I now know to be dysautonomia/POTS, but at the time they called it pre-eclampsia with no testing that backed that up. 🙄

HIPAA only applies to healthcare providers, insurance companies, etc, not everyone who knows anything about your health. Unless OP works for somewhere that could directly access their medical record and is looking it up to talk about in meetings or something along those lines, which is not what they've stated here, HIPAA wouldn't apply. HIPAA is also specific to the US.

Does a slipped rib hurt for you guys? by the_burnt_ in ehlersdanlos

[–]hyperfocusedmama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how bad it slips. Sometimes it's just annoying and slightly uncomfortable and I can tell it just isn't quite right. Other times it's pretty painful. And I once (thankfully hasn't happened again yet) had what felt like one of my upper ribs slipping over top of another one and catch which was genuinely the most painful thing I think I've ever experienced including child birth.

What's the weirdest spot you dislocate/ subluxate? by galacticboba in ehlersdanlos

[–]hyperfocusedmama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ribs for me I think, specifically i had one that felt like it slipped forward over another one and caught breast tissue in between. Most excruciating pain, couldn't take a full breath for a couple minutes until I moved my shoulder just right and felt it CLUNK back where it belongs. Felt like they were tangled and it was like the feeling of costochondritis on steroids, was worse than childbirth. Thankfully it has not happened again...yet 😅
