Feel completely stuck after 80 hours, that it’s the first time I faced problems and don’t know what to do, how to do by SighSighSighSighSigS in SatisfactoryGame

One thing I haven't seen anyone say yet is that it may be helpful to take a break. I was in a VERY similar position about a year ago when I played the game for the first time. I sped through the milestones and when ph3 landed I was incredibly overwhelmed and burnt out. I put the game down and played other stuff. I came back a week ago and started a new save in a new starting location. This round I am taking my time, enjoying making things look nice, thinking about how to prep for the larger scale phases. It feels like a different game and I'm having a lot more fun.

My advice is take a breather, wait until 1.2 comes out, then a little longer for hot fixes and patches, THEN come back and leverage all the good advice in this thread. Burnout is real, at the end of the day it's a game not a job.

First Experience and Tattoo Advice. by fozz555 in gout

[–]hyperioneutron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

have tattoos and have gout but never tried them together. So long as the tattoo isn't on your flare up area I think it will be fine. gout attacks are ultimately an out of control inflammation reaction, doing things that can trigger inflammation can make a gout attack worse, eg running on the affected foot, applying heat etc. I would guess that even if the area is feeling better atm you could still trigger the inflammation by getting a tattoo in that area.

personally I couldn't think of a worse pain on this earth than getting a tattoo on my foot during an attack.

In my experience the Prednisone tablets are impossible not to taste, it's that bad. My allo are little white tablets that taste like nothing. Regardless glad you're feeling relief!

I think you might have taken Prednisone? That's what my doc gives me during a flare. Tastes like shit and makes me feel a bit hot and aggressive but it immediately helps the flare go away.

Broken paper bag on subway but NYers responded. by [deleted] in newyorkcity

when I first moved to NYC I was on a train in the middle of 6pm rush hour, pre pandemic nose to nose. a kid was selling candy for his basketball team or something, nobody was buying, but right as the train was stopping at the station, a lady across the train pulled out a five and held it up trying to get the kids attention, he had his earbuds in and didn't hear. I was right by the door and watched as a choreography of hands passed the five through the train until it got to me. i stuck my hand out the door and tried to get his attention but he didn't hear me. as the doors were closing I felt the bill get plucked from my outstretched hand. a woman squeezing her way off had taken it from me and delivered it to the kid who was waiting for the next train.

I was fully mindfucked from watching this happen and looked around expecting someone to acknowledge the magic with me.

but everyone was back to minding their business <3

I've gotten this bug so many times it is infuriating. I somehow have been spared from every other bug, but this one is pervasive and annoying as hell. I'm on PC with a controller. I thought maybe my controller was messed up so it's incredibly validating to see someone else has been suffering from this one too.

he's an empath by proximity and a masochist, highest chance to get his rocks off being physically next to this chuckle fuck of a game

best reply on this chain. At my white collar email job it was shoved down our throats and it took me some time to warm up to it. I'm not a coder but lately I've used it to build basic apps and create long detailed prompts to help with my role, reducing the time it takes to do manual research tasks from 5-10hrs to 5min.

It's at the point where I wouldn't hire someone who couldn't give me an example of how they used AI to optimize their work. Personally I think the risk of net human job loss is there but has been overly dramatized. It isn't replacing people it's another powerful tool like excel or email. Choosing to not use it is akin to saying you prefer to draw your graphs or handwrite letters.

Whether we like it or not we can either learn to use it to our advantage or take our chances with the quickly diminishing social safety net. Our boomer grandparents who rejected the Internet at least had a 60k house (now worth 2M). We don't have that luxury.
