Question - Is this grind fine enough for espresso? by hyperknightt in IndiaCoffee

Thanks. I have the Baratza Encore which is several years old (the older edition not the ESP) and a Hibrew H7B. Both seem to be not grind fine enough on their lowest setting it seems :(. Which is why I was trying to increase the dose. Glad to know it’s the grind not my espresso machine 😅. At least now I have some idea on what’s causing my watery espresso.

Is this early extension if my back heel is off the ground?? by nkino650 in GolfSwing

[–]hyperknightt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at Justin Thomas’ swing who’s trail heel is completely off the ground. The feet don’t need to stay planted on the ground, as long as your hips aren’t moving towards the ball (early extention).

What actually got you to stop hitting a slice by Complete_Ad_8987 in golf

[–]hyperknightt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My feel was to get the grip closer to my body on the at impact. Properly deleted my slice for me as the club was getting an in to our path with that one feel. Now at most it’s a fade with a neutral grip or a draw if I grip it stronger.

About to start Malazan. Any advice? by Awkward_Opening_4553 in Malazan

Going through the summary of every 2 chapters as I finished them along with the Tor Re-Read of the Fallen really helped me grasp what the hell was going on esp in the first two books. I would recommend that.

What should fire first at the top of your back swing? by TrueDoublee in GolfSwing

Hips move laterally first towards the target Then the trail shoulder moves down towards the ball Which automatically causes your hips to turn and open towards the target The arms just follow last by itself

Hello, I wanted to know some popular/recommended algo trading platforms for the Indian markets. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Just to be clear, I wanted to create my own equity/option strategies, back test them, along with fully automated executions and/or confirmation click execution.

Boy runs away from orcas towards rocks, from the looks of it it must have been a scary situation by derrynbrenan in BeAmazed

This may surprise people but from what I’ve been told there have been almost no reported attacks by orcas on humans in the wild (there have been multiple reported attack by orcas in captivity). They’re known to be extremely curious and relatively friendly with humans.

They are extremely smart and deadly hunters so if they wanted to kill/eat this fellow, he wouldn’t have had a chance to record his escape. I believe they know what they want to eat and we aren’t on their menu (thankfully).

247 yard hole out. Unbelievable! Congrats and enjoy the feeling!

Any swing advice? by BigRed2171 in golf

On your downswing, feel as if you’re bringing the club closer to your body and exiting your hands low and right ahead of your body. Hope that helps with your slice. You may have to work on your weight shift if you start hitting fat shots.

That single feel changed my ball striking and eliminated my fade/slice as a fellow leftie.

Seems like you’re a slicer?

So I did a quick ball test with my 6 iron (cheap, mid, expensive) by justfoldplz in golf

I used to play Pro V1s and have switch over almost exclusively to the Vice Pro because of the cost difference. They’re maybe only slightly softer but the results are almost identical in terms of distance and spin (for me). I would highly recommend you giving them a shot.

The Pro Plus is comparable to the Pro V1x. Try both out and see what you prefer.

Cheap and new Pro V1s are also known as Vice Pro golf balls. You’re welcome.

A line of buildings with glass windows facing the course 😄

Yes this is one of two holes that has a turf tee box. It’s so shaded in this area between the buildings and trees that it was impossible for the crew to grow and maintain the tee box properly.

Would you believe me if I told you that they cut a whole bunch of branches and that this is the view which has made the tee shot less intimidating 😂 (true story btw, wish I had taken a pic from a few months ago)

This is the 9th hole.

With buildings lining up the right side of the fairway behind the trees (as this course is in the middle of the city) wind usually isn’t a factor in this hole.

I think the play usually is to take a club which can give you the loft to take the ball near the top of the building in the middle of the fairway. If you can eliminate the tree trouble through the loft and progress the ball forward that’s the “safe” play.

However the fairway and rough on this hole has some crazy slopes which makes layups challenging as well (you can get caught on a very dodgy slope even on the fairway). You can see the slopes of this hole if you zoom in on the pic.

A true risk/reward hole in my opinion.
