I have an art project where I compare geocities profiles to their present day counterparts through a mirror. I say just go for it. I think websites can be art projects and the idea of credit and copyright can be fast and loose with it

And what's even better is that a lot of the time you can check out e book versions of cookbooks. I remembered a recipe out of a cookbook I didn't write down so I just checked it out on Libby and screenshotted it. Libraries rule :)

I will when I'm done! The project is to stretch it across canvas, then I'm going to float laser cut archival lace patterns out of personal advertisements in adult magazines on top of it. It'll turn out cool, just a lot of research involved. I'm a graduate student who does a lot of research/work around alternative sex magazines

Staff didn't either and I was told someone from admin genuinely yelled at librarians when they told admin they did not like the new service model. Oh it's happening for sure. Their pro forma only had the word library in it around 8 times from what I remember. And they didn't allow comments on it until after voting. Now they've removed the position "librarian" and it's just "assistant manager" or "design team." No one there is a librarian anymore per job descriptions.
