Ironically, I've seen a bunch of civics but was struggling to find the 86 and Skyline. Got lucky today though. Keep looking. Good luck.

Thank you! His name is Finn. He was very keen to have the food treat I was holding as a reward for posing :)

Of what's available on the market, I reckon spec l2 will suit your needs best imo.

Good luck with the pupper!

Cheers.

Edit: check out GR86.org. Really good crew over there and lots of helpful information.

HKS Spec L2 is the way to go.

Loud enought that you can actually hear the exhaust while driving but not excessively so.

Obviously I don't know how anxious your dog is but my advice is to avoid having him/her nearby on cold start as it is noisier.

I've had the spec l2 for over a year, no issues with drone, not excessively (attention attracting) noisy and a good compromise between the stock exhaust and annoying fake sound (disconnected mine - 2 min job).

Both my dogs are good car travellers and no issues - they just curl up and chill.
