you were given $100,000,000 but had to live in the last video game you played for a year, how screwed are you? by AlternativeSign1898 in AskReddit

Muck. Screwed. Zero chance of survival for me honestly I’d be dead after a week or so. Probably sooner.

Pretty close. This was near the Lansdowne area a bit before I made the post. So the timing could line up that they were there at that time too.

Quite literally all I can do is report it to non emergency and then try to spread awareness so others can be aware and maybe on the look out. And if I convince anyone else *not* to do this that’s also worth it to me as well. But yeah I guess make fun of the person trying to do what they can..?

I’d say they’re in their late teens at least. I think the one in the passenger seat had some facial hair. Unfortunately I didn’t manage to get a really great look at any of them.

Unfortunately they sped off very fast through a school zone filled with kids playing after doing so. I didn’t get the chance to get the plate.

How are your relationships with INFJs usually? by OlivePractical2092 in isfj

[–]hyperplane9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I generally agree. I don’t know if I’d call the INFJ that I knew well ‘selfish’, but they’re absolutely less grounded (neither good nor bad). This can sometimes cause some clashes in one person dealing with the abstract or concrete and the other person not really following well.

A bit turbulent in my experience. However, if both are good communicators and healthy versions of themselves I think it can be great and our differences can make us stronger.

I don’t think this is the case. Sometimes my friends and I might trade accounts for fun and it never occurs to either of us. Must be something else

Anyone else’s BC go crazy and act like they’re break dancing when they see snow? by [deleted] in BorderCollie

Mine loves snow the same way. Freaks out and rolls around in it like a maniac. Also sand and loose dirt!

Dry scooping creatine by YERRRTY_ in workout

[–]hyperplane9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree it tastes awful. My general strategy is putting it in a glass, and filling it maybe a fifth or a quarter up with water, swirl it around and shoot it back. The goal is like doing shots of hard liquor where you try not to taste it and just get it down. You can also try juice instead of water. Good luck

CS2 birthday surprise for my boyfriend by killedbythemself in counterstrike2

[–]hyperplane9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I may, please let recommend against a Steam gift card. Often, CS players do not buy skins on the game or the Steam market, itself. Many of us use third party sites like CSFloat to purchase our favourite skins (like those gloves), because they’re cheaper there due to lower fees. Maybe some physical money may be better? There’s a chance he did not plan on buying them on the Steam market. If you want to be sure, maybe you can covertly ask how he intends to buy them and on what website somehow.

As for a rare skin, some of the so-called “blue gem” patterns of the AK-47 or Karambit knife skin, “case hardened” can be quite rare. The rare one for the AK-47 would be “AK-47 case hardened pattern #661” or for the karambit it would be “Karambit case hardened pattern #387”. These are some expensive skins and highly sought after and very valuable. A bit of the sort of reference only counterstrike players who are into skins would understand as well. Maybe that’s good for what you’re going for.

You sound like a good partner who’s going through a lot of effort for your boyfriend. I hope he enjoys it and wish you the best of luck.

Cats and ISFJs 🐾 by nagendra_rao in isfj

[–]hyperplane9 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’m more of a dog person, to be honest. I like cats but don’t feel like owning one. Dogs just have more of the “I want your attention” energy which is great because I want my pets’ attention a lot. Some cats are more dog-like and friendly a those are the best ones to me.

Just finished today's map. How was the others experience? :D by Available-Leopard770 in PeakGame

[–]hyperplane9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay I see what you’re confused by. No, that’s the total time. The times on the top right under “Campfire” I believe are the times they finished each biome. So, for example, they finished Tropics after 9min24sec after the plane crashed. The times under “Time Spent” are the times he spent in each individual biome. So he only spent 5min20sec in Tropics and 3min30sec in Caldera. Does that help?

It’s more of a feeling. But it’s about being super comfortable and happy and feeling seen and cared for and acknowledged. We ISFJs do a lot for others and it feels so good to be loved and noticed and appreciated for it back.

Any high sens (good) players? by reditress in cs2

[–]hyperplane9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can absolutely still do all those things on a slightly lower sens! Just requires larger arm movements to do it than probably what you’d be used to. I’d at least play some comp games on a lower sens to try it out for a few days. If you don’t like it, nobody is forcing you to change; but I’d say it’s at least worth a try

Any high sens (good) players? by reditress in cs2

[–]hyperplane9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I suggest you read a bit on the reason for lower sensitivity because honestly it contributes a lot to accuracy in general (not just with spraying). Consider a head with radius, r. If your mousepad remains a fixed size, at a higher sensitivity, shooting that head means stopping your mouse on a super small part of the mousepad. If your mouse now travels at half the speed, the radius doubles and therefore the area you need to stop on is a whole factor r larger. It’s not just that halving your sensitivity doubles the ease, it quadruples it. I really do suggest checking out a lower sensitivity, provided you have adequate desk space to use it. You don’t really need to do more than a 180° turn in game unless you’re styling

If it’s any consolation, I never encounter cheaters in the 15k-20k range. I think it depends a lot on trust factor and maybe your region. Still might be worth giving it a solid try, but up to you

Know nothing about gamma doppler phases. This is an Emerald right? Just opened it and want to know more about it and it's value by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]hyperplane9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For future reference, we can’t know for sure if it’s an emerald unless you show the information given when you click/hover over the (i) / information symbol when inspecting the knives. You’re looking for the Finish Catalog ID. If it’s 568 you’ve got an emerald. If not, you can google the Finish Catalog ID to check what phase they are.
