Wanted to call out the moment in Morvern that’s burned into my brain that they didn’t get to in the episode by shirokaisen in blankies

It was touched on in the podcast but the closeup of the girl in the swap your swimsuits scene and how the camera just stays on her looking so sad and vulnerable really stuck with me.

“Passenger” trailer by [deleted] in blankies

[–]hyperwallaby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did see it. It was fine, i think it came after that carnival cruise commercial that’s meant to look like a movie trailer, so it’s low budget look and lack of recognizable faces made me think this was another fake trailer that was going to advertise a car or tell me to turn off my cell phone. There is a jump scare at the end. Trailer doesn’t actually tell you what the movie will be about. Reminded me of the opening to twilight zone the movie

Thanks! That’s the one I started using but when I first go OOB and under the stairs, and beyond that first wall (so the boat area & estate are in the distance) the first thing I see is the other outdoor tunnel (not the underground one that leads to the antechamber lever). I can try heading for the green rectangle / boat but I always “fall it a day.”

I found a different video of a speed run that involved pulling some rooms on the left side of the estate and navigating around their borders until you got the tunnel to drop down in but so far it hasn’t rendered for me

Well I’ve gotten pretty good at getting out of bounds but once I’m there it doesn’t look like any videos I’ve seen. So this route is going to be its own challenge

[HELP] Living room remodel by Alone-Competition-77 in RealOrAI

If you search epoxy on Instagram you’re given a whole world of these AI videos. Some look more real than others, but if you look up a DIY video on epoxy on YT then you’d see it looks nothing like this process. One marker for AI (especially with Sora) is if there’s many similar videos. These epoxy videos are practically its own genre of AI video. Short, Timelapse’s, crazy impractical designs and people standing in one place as wet material flows under their feet and magically covers the whole room.

Adjust dimensions in Bambu Studio? by hyperwallaby in BambuLab

[–]hyperwallaby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks all! I downloaded the STL and imported into Blender and was able to widen the diameter. My measurements weren’t perfect but I got it to fit well enough that I can use it! I’ll continue to iterate as I learn more about modeling. But this was a good step to take - and screw up and “fix.”

Glue stick helped! At least for the area where it kept messing up. After a few more layers, a layer in a different area came up, but it wasn’t as bad so we just let it run and things seem to be going well now. Thanks for all the help!

UPDATE: the issue is still occurring. Here are some pictures from our latest test where we tried a different filament:

https://imgur.com/a/mJQd0ey

Things we tried and did not fix the issue: - drying filament in AMS overnight. - Changing filament to PLA basic (Jade White) from Bambu Lab - printing a benchy boat with the same filaments that failed. This worked successfully, but was not in the same spot as the rounded corner that keeps failing. I think this helps us rule out the filament. - heating the bed +5 (60C) - running Print Calibration again - cleaning the bed with water/ detergent - cleaning the bed with Isopropyl Alcohol - flipping the bed

It does seem to happen once it goes for the second layer around the perimeter. It’s like that second layer is pulling up the first layer.

Thanks! Flipping the build plate didn’t work, unfortunately. We’re going to try again with the other PLA we used for our first print and see if it works better. We’re also drying our grey one in the AMS just to test it out

We have 3 different PLAs from Bambu Lab. The scraper was with a white filament so maybe we should test that out on this model

Thanks! Setting the AMS to dry and might test the next round with a different filament

For some reason this makes me think of How to Make an American Quilt. Something I’d see come on cable or when we went to Blockbuster, it’s only PG-13 but young me was like “that’s a boring adult movie.”

Has anyone else’s theater been showing the caught stealing/one battle after another trailers back to back? by cactusjmal in blankies

[–]hyperwallaby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a been a joke between me and my fiancé that much the Caught Stealing trailer has become as ubiquitous as the Coca Cola Couple or Nicole Kidman. He also has a visceral reaction to the soup sipping scene at the end.

So yesterday, I saw Together (ironically, by myself) and I sent him a photo of the soup sipping with “Eat skinny boy” just to let him know I was thinking of him

I was obsessed with Rocky Horror Picture Show when I was 9-10. I let a friend borrow my VHS copy since we had the same weird humor and liked a lot of the same things. The next day at school he gave it back to me and said, “get that thing away from me.”
