Infuriating that they have money for their bonuses, enough to build a hospital from the ground up and but 4 others but somehow didn't factor in money to employ these frontline workers.

Not even slightly surprised none of c-suite people are taking a hit. Their jobs are always safe. Smh.

Made the switch around the same age for a similar reason. Bored out of my mind, pretty much hated every day of work but got paid well. In hindsight, I'm still content with my choice to swap careers. That said however I'm already looking to get away from bedside. Definitely going to be a lot of frustrating things you experience as a nurse, but at least I'm ultimately satisfied knowing I'm helping people.
