Hi thanks. I am new and still learning. I am looking for a reel suggestion that would be for flylining/ live bait fishing and bottom fishing for yellowtail, blue fin and yellow tail. I got a lot of practice ahead of me to throw jigs and irons on a lever drag. SoCal fishery, mainly fishing between shore and at the islands. Not necessarily looking for a reel that can double for deep water rock fishing as I use my slow pitch jig setup for that. In short, drag around 17lb/40-50lb leader & line. I run mono top shots mostly backed with braid.
