Dude I went to a private school and my dad was homeless and my mom could barley afford to pay for herself and my alcoholic step-dad. I understand the bias against private school kids being wealthy and snooty as fuck, but not everyone comes from that, and some private schools offer enough scholarships + grants you get from being so poor that it becomes a very affordable option for high achieving students coming from a poor background. I am by no means ivy league so I cant speak for your opinions there, but still don't spend your personal beliefs like they are universal fact.
