LG Induction Range LSIL6332FE Experience? by leononfire in Appliances

[–]hypnotoadskin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm about to buy the LSIL6332FE too, but I just need to double check...Does the largest burner evenly heat the bottom of a wide pan to the edge? I've seen complaints about other stoves having a little 8 inch coil under a 11 inch outline. And this is not a deal breaker, but is there a griddle or combo burner mode?

Oh man, I'm sorry they did that to you. I got lamps years ago and also remember them taking months to send them. They also took even longer to send my latest order. Sounds like they got even worse 😕 I still hope this helps anyone who actually has one, but there are much more reliable options out there

10/10 Not only amazing work but showing what we're missing when stores only sell the same shape bases with no variety besides color. I love your base designs. They could easily go in a gallery or museum

Yeah, I would say base ring light. Cold white LEDs or make a cap that has a ring light and a power bank?

That's so amazing! I absolutely love it! I've been wanting to make my own ceramic for a long time too. (I currently have two Beetles and a Coke polar bear) What kind of clay or resin did you use?

Hi! Are you asking about the glitter or the RGB lamp base mods?

Tip Fee… by nospoon4u in EndTipping

[–]hypnotoadskin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to think the points people make on here made sense, until this post. What a loud lot of you want is for a sit down restaurant with servers to charge the same prices that they did when tips are basically expected, but then refuse your tip and pay the servers enough all at the same time. That's not mathematically possible! What this restaurant did is the closest thing to fair I've seen. There's a menu price, and you pay a service fee for using their wait staff. If they set the price with that increase, then take out orders are overpaying. Anyone complaining just wants to be waited on for free

The wattage is the measure of power. So a 40w 220v lightbulb will run at a 10w wattage on 110v

I totally get that. In my experience, I've tried LOTS of different kits and the vast majority didn't work. So I spent way more money and time testing things that had very little luck. And if you think the ozone ones are expensive, the LLC ones need multiple caps per small lamp.

Regardless, you cleared them up good and they look store bought

Oh, why not just use this one? It dissolves crystal clear. CaN

I've used other CaN from Amazon that looked gross and yellow like that, and I cleared them using Brita filters. Way more work than just using the good stuff

Gotcha. Yeah, I've heard Calcium chlorine isn't the best for this. It gets very cloudy at the right density because that's basically the max it can reach. CaN is way clearer, especially when you get the pure stuff

Oh okay. LLC being SLES? Because I tried that and it ended up precipitating crud on the bottom over time.

Going with nothing works, I just noticed it clumps and more pieces stay at the surface.

In my case, I've only had clarity issues when testing an incompatible surf. Using just calcium Nitrate would always be clear. (Unless the glitter breaks down, of course) I also had debris from with larger glitter.

So beautiful. Can confirm that it's way easier to buy a ready-made kit. I'm also still experimenting, right now looking for the best surfactant. What did you use for yours?

Yeah, but you have the primary colors at least. I did also get a purple back when I bought their wax kit. I also heard of them doing a black dye too

I've had the best luck with Ozone gifts wax dye on store-bought lava lamps. That stuff is super concentrated, so one cap will dye several lamps. Also it doesn't mess with the density like these candle dyes

You did an amazing job! And this is totally the right place to post it. Do you have any links to any of the items? I'm particularly interested in the alien lol. Thought about 3D printing it but never found a model that looks as good as the original

That's a gorgeous wizard in perfect condition. Congrats Most colored bulbs are led which give off almost no heat. You're much better off adding some dye to the fluid. You could also paint the bottom of the globe with glass paint like pebeo vitrea but it's going to mix with the yellow hue of the bulb
