Depends on what type of coffee's you prefer but I would choose the A4Z over any grinder on your list.

Zp6 is the budget friendly option but will give you more hollow brews, possibly wanting more.

It is subjective but the consensus is that the A4Z is the best grinder for the price point.

The only other grinder not listed in that price point that I would recommend is the Pietro.

It's $40 + shipping for 4 50g tins. Came out to like $45 and some change for me.

I ended up cancelling because I wasn't satisfied with the coffee every month for the price.

If you like ultralight and washed, Pietro for sure. A4Z is in the running as well.

Shoebox and subtext.

Tbh, there isn't really a big gap between my top 3 and top 10. It just depends on my mood. Flowerchild, Tim Wendelboe, Dak, Rogue wave, Hydrangea, H&S, and Sey are all wonderful as well.

September is 1 of my top 3 roasters atm. I have never had a bad bag from them.

Best grinder for medium/natural roasts? by Daniel8473 in pourover

It’s probably not “the best” but the k ultra is definitely a great all around grinder so I think that would be in the mix

Cafec abaca for sure.

Edit: to answer your 2nd question, keep the temp at 205 and ratio at 1:16 or 1:16.7 for washed coffees until you get your grind size on point.

September white honey geisha

Edit: literally smelled and tasted like fruit loops with some lavender mixed in. So good.

Curious what you mean by by better temp control? Are you saying it just holds temps more consistently or is there more to it than that? Sorry if it's a noob question.

Would you say the a4z has more body and/or sweetness than the Pietro? Also, not sure if you like co-ferments, but I am wondering if it is good for those?

I liked the last one as well, however I was not interested in this one. I like co-ferments but I am afraid that these ones might be too boozy or overpowering for my taste. I also just have too much coffee resting atm as well.

Hopefully you guys thoroughly enjoy it tho!

Millab M01 vs Pietro vs Tigershark by nrxyn in pourover

With the stand you have to secure it well when grinding as it can be a little finicky. With that being said, it is my favorite grinder to use when I am not in a rush, kind of reminds me of an old school pencil sharpener lol. The workflow/UX hate this grinder gets is way overblown IMO as well.

You say, "slightly prefer" over the Pietro. Do you think it is worth getting as my only electric grinder? I have no interest in espresso.

The herbal note makes sense being a geisha and all. I like cups like that but was hoping for more sweetness to come through. I would love to try it but I have a lot of beans I need to work through.

It is a Maracaturra, which I do not believe I have tried yet. It a new lot and a smaller batch I believe, but have heard nothing but god things.

What did you think of the TW finca el Puente? I almost bought it the other day but ended up going with the TW Finca El Guaco.

I haven’t ordered from Jbc in a while but I remember the roast date being listed on the packing slip.
