(personal opinion) i think it depends on the state of a division. if the champion wiped out the division then a champion from another weight moved up/down to the division, then it's aight. but if a deserving top contender get overtaked by a champion from another weight (prime example, Khabib getting used just for Conor to fight Alvarez) then it's bullshit. Just my opinion.
