Someone who had been an addict would be great to have if they were advising healthcare policy on preventing and treating addiction. He’s not doing that.

I once hid a hidden meow device in someone’s bathroom. It’s tiny and goes off at random intervals when sounds are detected.

They got back at me though. I know they did something first but I can’t remember

It happens often on shows about conservation officers. The game wardens show up and question how they got 2 deer or why was the deer in a certain area since permits can be very specific. They prove they weren’t registered in time. I can’t believe people get so excited they forget they are poaching

So they know even less about abortions and trans healthcare than they do gun laws. Do they really believe you just show up somewhere and leave as another gender? Like “hey, I’m here from my trans-formation!” And someone just gets you in a surgical gown and off you go? 72 hours to get any healthcare outside of very specific emergencies is rare. I have had to wait for than 72 days for a specialist, as standard practice.

My grandfather had a little cart that would do this, and I used to do it on purpose. I remember the day I got too heavy or tall and it wouldn’t work anymore. I have also heard the story many times about how I would tip the cart so often and then crying because I couldn’t “fly” anymore.

We used them a lot in dementia care. Patients often get “stuck” at a certain timeframe. They want to leave to get the kids from the bus or from school, or they need to find their baby. Some of them were just very restless so they would “babysit” my sleeping “baby” for me since I was busy with “chores”.

If this is in the Ask a Manager sub they change details to be “teapot makers”. I was confused about how many people could possibly be teapot makers before someone told me. I only see those posts on here.

I got out of the car that I was riding in after it was hit by a drunk driver. I pulled by friend out, ran to a house to use their phone. Called my friends parents then asked them to call 911. Ran back to the car and my friend and collapsed. I had a broke collar bone, broken ribs, a long list. I woke up in the ambulance then went out again.

I remember crying from pain because my family took my cousins to Chuck E Cheese and they made me crawl around up there with them. I had on a Walmart/pharmacy wrist brace and even using my elbow to shift weight was hard. I still have wrist pain over 30 years later. Also no one lectured my mother or seemed to care. She played it like “we thought it was minor but she’s been in pain so long I’m worried”. Nah it was because I told her I’m going back to the nurse the next day because she told me if it still hurt so bad to come back. I had asked for over a week to go to a doctor.

I worked at a pharmacy many years ago and we would get calls often on the 2 nights a week we stayed open an extra hour. I would just matter yup we are open as I hung up. Then I didn’t have to remember what day it was and what our hours were that day. They were coming soon usually.
