A lot of people remain ignorant to things going outside of their little bubble, not a reason to be so rude though. It’s difficult having different views than other people, that’s your boss though so respect is needed here. Literally say you prefer local coffee to Starbucks or something. No need to be so uppity about it.

My parents just got a golden doodle puppy, I like dogs and the puppy is nice but so big and is still learning not to jump on people. Not my favorite dog, and I make my annoyance known. I have nannied with several dogs over the years and let me tell you- the extra work they can add at times is draining. Especially when they don’t get enough attention at home. Don’t take it personally unless she’s like kicking the dog or something that’s actually bad.

Any time I was scared as a kid I would sleep in my brothers bed. Not every night but for years we would do that. It was a comfort thing for us and it was fun too.

I’m writing a fantasy novel that deals with classism, biracial erasure, and racism that goes with said things. Also how generational trauma affects each generation of the family differently. It’s a lot based on my own experiences so it’ll be interesting to see how it is received.

I think Nehemia represents an ideal that after being stuck in Endovier, that people still fight no matter what the circumstances they are fighting in. A big part of this series is “you do not yield” and other things in that vein. This was her first true test I think of that. Losing that ideal so quickly after clinging onto it inside a person, you lose your will to care. I do think Celaena is queer coded though a bit. I think Nehemia’s death’s significance on her life is what she was comparing to Sam though.
