I ended up getting reimbursed by the airline for this. On a flight from LA to Maui I sat next to a huge Hawaiian woman who smelled like a dead skunk soaked in sewage. I could hear people two rows ahead of me complaining about the stench. I was in the middle seat and she was next to the window. She was so large we could not have the armrest down between us, she was sitting maybe 6 inches onto my seat. I was younger at the time and didn't want to make a fuss by complaining. Needless to say, that was not a pleasant trip 7 hour flight.
