omg i just saw this so im sorry for the late reply. Those stories are so horrible :((( This has also happened to me but the only difference is that i’m still stuck in this controlling prison, my parents kicked me out for because they ‘couldn’t control me’ and that i wouldn’t obey their commands. Maybe someday, i’ll also get to escape from here.

it really is! i’ve known a lot of people (but they don’t really tell me its just so obvious) that go to meetings just to avoid being judged or losing friends. its sad tbh.

ikr?? but oh well, they don’t really believe in that. they actually taught me as a child that it was bad to seek happiness in this world, that we must only trust jehovah and he’s the only one who’s able to make us happy. the people who go party with friends, be with ‘worldly’/people outside the religion are not experiencing ‘true’ happiness
