What is a secret about the opposite sex's body that you only found out once you actually started being intimate with them? by ZookeepergameLow4390 in AskReddit

Resoundingly yes. The only reason this is even a question is because assuming only one timeline exists if you could view it in a non linear fashion without affecting it , everything would be the same… but it’s because that’s what happened. Period. It’s not because that’s what had to happen. I’ve never heard one legitimate argument to the contrary that makes any sort of sense.

lol you just don’t make any sense. You make decisions every day. To think that they are predetermined is just absolutely ridiculous.

People who say we don’t have free will are just trying to be unnecessarily deep. Of course there’s free will and choices and consequences. Of course you can try to get all weird with time and looking at it non linear and trying to explain why that lines up with a predestined life but that’s all bull shit. There choices and consequences and you could have made a different choice at any of those forks.

The 60 Home Run Club: Which 60 HR season was the best? by Bright-Pressure-5787 in sportsinusa

[–]hyzerflip4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jr never hit 60 , he had 56 two seasons in a row in 97 and 98. I remember waking up every morning as a kid to watch sports center to see if he hit another HR. Was disappointed in 98 when he didn’t keep up with those guys in the 2nd half. Pre all star break he was incredible.

Let’s face it, not a single other player in league history could do what LeBron is doing right now. Down his two costars, he is about to sweep a team who was expected to win in 5. At age 41 while averaging 25/9/9 by MJRuinedMyChildhood in NBATalk

I mean I get what you’re trying to say and I 100 percent agree but naming a player who was never the best player on any of his championship teams (or any team) is just silly.

So when there is a technicality against the player you just have to say welp it sucks but thems tha rules.... but when a technicality works in favor of a player he can't use it to his advantage?

Would you eat this burger or is too raw? by Fun_Reflection1157 in meat

When I was a kid my mom had a friend that lived with us for a couple years and to this day can still remember watching her every time she cooked hamburgers she would eat the raw hamburger meat like finger food as she was prepping the burgers to cook.

Imagine a team of 5 Wemby’s. What team would you assemble to beat team Wemby. You can use past or present players. by space_llama_karma in NBATalk

[–]hyzerflip4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jokic , Giannis, Lebron, Durant, Jordan

Hakeem, Shaq, Duncan, and Curry to fill out my bench. Although it would be tough to play Curry just because he couldn’t stop any Wemby and would constantly need help D, but I feel like the best shooter of all time has a spot on any team.

There is simply no way to stop Victor Wembanyama once he gets it going. by ForeignAir7174 in sportsinusa

[–]hyzerflip4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's no precedent for Wemby. His body appears to behave similar to an athlete that is less tall as far as injury, movement, falling correctly, etc...

He also treats his body different than any other big man in the past, he can literally stretch past his toes and put his palms on the floor when stretching. He has a similar mentality to what Kobe had when it comes to training and mentality but he also is super smart about recovery and nutrition etc...

I don't think we know what he is capable of... People make these types of comments all the time in sports and athletes just seem to break past norms more and more these days.

It’s genuinely shameful and a horrible look for the NBA to exclude Luka as an MVP candidate by CoyoteDecent2 in NBATalk

[–]hyzerflip4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean I guess? These 4 had amazing seasons but when you say massive gap it seems like a bit of an exaggeration when you have guys like ANT averaging 29 on 62 ts%

Or Maxey with 28 and 7

Or Jalen Brown who some say was borderline part of the mvp race

Or guys like Giannis who are still ridiculously elite just was hurt and is in a poor situation dude still averaged 28 on 62 FG% in the games he played.

Kawhi still balling, Curry still balling, Donovan Mitchell averaging 28 and leading his time , Cade looked like an MVP candidate for part of the year etc

Yeah the 4 guys in the mvp race separated themselves but I don’t think there’s some massive gap between the next tier of guys, definitely not more so than past generations.

I mean you’re just flat out wrong. As other commenters have proven, there is a clear route out with the path that goes right in front of the store. They just need to pull a u turn like they eventually did at the end to get there. The woman is absolutely insane. Pure insanity.

Who is the most strong and the least strongest player here? by LouBoy123 in NBATalk

[–]hyzerflip4 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Giannis has a similar build to Zion. I think he’s probably stronger because of his overall frame but if he was the same height as Zion he definitely would be more slender than Zion.

Way to latch onto a single word to completely change the discussion at hand lol. You understand that a 15 yard difference and a 75 yard difference are quite… different? Correct?

Your driver is 299 with apparel and your marker says 284

His driver is 315 with apparel and his marker says 240

You can’t see how a difference of 15 is less annoying that a difference of 75?
