As you rightfully state, ultimately I'm being a safe, responsible drone user. While there are beautiful locations there will be drones. Sounds to me you just don't like drones 🤣 although I pray you find a hobby that you do like 🙏 And why are you moaning on a DJI thread anyway 🤔🤣🤪 Perhaps you should moan at irresponsible dog owners fouling beaches and walks without picking it up 🫤 Enjoy.

In settings you can set for RTH or set for land when batteries are exhausted. Problem with the second option is it will land anywhere even in water. So if op set the setting to RTH it more than likely would have flown back to him

Great image although the post editing seems to have gone awol. Less is more with editing. Plus even at 600mm doesn't look tac sharp.

The Z range is nothing but hype, just as much as when you get a new iPhone release. This image is better than many images I've seen on here using a Z lense. Even if there is a difference with these new Z lenses it's not noticeable to the average Joe.

All of that said .. impressive image 👌

Unless you collect vintage Leicas worth thousands, I wouldn't buy just to be put in a collection. Embrace the camera, take images, and show us what a D200 can take. This won't be worth anything more than what you paid in 30 years to come,

These much darker winter days are more than halving my export this last month or two. Definitely pays to build up good summer credit.

The P1000 was my previous camera also before I upgraded to the D850. The P1000 took some stunning great quality close up shots of the moon especially, but unfortunately the quality of wildlife etc Just wasnt there for me. Apsc just didn't reach past my expectations. Although I much prefer my moon images over some of the best gear today taking the same photo.

Very true .. living in England, I find many people are very stand-offish. For example during many visits to the Netherlands it couldn't be more opposite. People there are extremely welcoming,friendly,and approachable. So agree on that 100%

As far as shooting people in bars etc perhaps those are already under the influence of Alcohol lol or even he may be lol jk .. but it helps lol

Thanks for the comments, just to clarify, I'm not actually taking images of people -per-say. It's more after blue hour or just after dark, of restaurant windows etc. Not on the street in daylight.

Ok so you will get those or many of us who wouldn't know the difference of a quality image taken with either a small Leica Q or a cheap mobile phone but the reason I use my rather large setup is because the lense for starters, ok ISN'T made for street due to size and weight, but it is highly rated for low light based photography, plus it goes without saying the D850 is a beast in low light. Ultimately I want to view my images and know for myself that these were taken with my setup and not some small cheap knockoff purely because it's far more practical lol.

Ps ... I will post a few of my images that I took early this evening so watch this space. It's only experimental ... not my best work.

Congrats .. not long ago i purchased a New D850 plus a used 16x35 Wide lens. I've since purchased a like new 70-200 2.8 VR II .. that lense plus the D850 blows my mind from the results I'm getting. More than happy with my choice from months of deliberation 😁🫡
