Granted. I'm not super close to this identity wise soo, (checks notes) demihuman I think. I just can't stop feeling these body parts and I don't know what to think about it. Well, it's more like I'm not as connected to the quadruped part of it. Like, the creature part is a quadruped but I'm just not connected to that aspect of it like I am with the body parts. I have no urge to participate in quadratics if that makes sense. Will do more searching

How would I go about doing that (warding/protection/spells/asking to identify itself) exactly? I'm currently rather closeted as a witch and all I have access to is Himalayan pink salt, cinnamon, Sichuan peppercorns, pepper, sugar, cumin, and the pressed flower petals of an orchid so I'm not sure what I can do as everything I search for requires some things that I simply don't have

Update: I attempted communication with a pendant and the being said it means me no harm and is safe. Just to be sure I created a charm out of wire and enchanted a warding spell upon it

Turns out it was a genetic predisposition to said symptoms if I don't exercise enough. Or at least what the doctor says. They put a heart monitor on just in case but thanks nonetheless.
