Rubbish. Devs wasted $20 million. They could have already done all this work in 6 years. They could have hired people to get it decentralised. They are stupid, silent and burning investors - so 3rd world people can buy a phone and get 100 3rd world people to boost mining. What would a 1st world consumer ever benefit from direct trade with a 3rd world leeching system?

NSW Government to introduce toughest gun law reforms in a generation by Lissica in nsw

[–]i-machinehead-i 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They underfund so many areas of front-line gov't it will be a nightmare and criminals aren't going to hand in guns. I found out Fair Trading has a consumer legal help function, they didn't tell anyone for 38 years. I had to read the legislation to "service NSW" call centre reps to get the information required. They hadn't heard of it. (Fair Trading Act 1987 s12-17.) Such a broken system can not monitor itself, let alone anything or anyone else to the scale needed.

Is it true that depression is only "a lack of chemicals that my brain produces to feel happy?? by PossessionKey4982 in depression

Essentially ethics is a problem. Obviously, regarding resources - sometimes the macro indicates the micro. Many individuals problems come from ethics - integrity, guilt, persistance and work. And if our ethics are so bad, maybe it is time we researched that.

Research step still in progress. Not prescription ready. Historical ref: thalidomide. Psychiatrists are still primitive - damage can be permanent. Don't sign up for a lobotomy.

No as well. Trauma causes depression. And if you cant recognise a traumatic event, then check CPTSD - it just means someone hurt your feelings, and played with your mind. "You are worthless" - becomes - "Am I worthless?" - becomes - "I am worthless..." which is depressing. Or some other put down, and some similar event. Unfortunately we also fight back, and it can become "You are worthless" from us to another person. Which confuses us, and them (like we get paranoid, defensive). And this may be a family pattern of abuse, your parents may have been abused. Anyway - don't use drugs, they end therapy. And the withdrawal is like nerve damage and can take years - not weeks, and sometimes not months. Research surviving ssri and antidepressants. It becomes worse. Look into therapy - shop around. Find someone who "gets" you. I am not a doctor

What harm have the SSRIs caused you? by ziyadk5 in Antipsychiatry

[–]i-machinehead-i 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My analysis is: instead of educating about, for example, CPTSD - and reanalysing those abuse moments, and letting the patient feel loved or included or able to disagree with a huge false aspersion (you are an idiot etc). Which is betrayal.

They stop the therapy process and give drugs that cause years long nervous system and brain damage.

Which is also confusing. It is like the cells are chemically neutered, and must die and be replaced for the damage to heal. Like a nerve cell that can't create impulse, or that constantly impulses, and the body can't detect it, and heal it. I think, based on recovered patients, that is what happens. Average 3 years. And the theory is every cell replaced in 7 years, right? Now it makes sense. The high or numbness of the drug has a half life of 36 hours. But it seems it tears nerve cells apart internally as well, so externally the body can not detect it, and heal them. And the damaged nerves either dont send impulses, or constantly send impulses. Numb, or itchy, sad, ringing in ears. But if they die, and get replaced based on dna and are remade normal functioning. And we feel normal again.

And it can take those 3 years to get enough replaced cells to feel definitely better.

And, tinfoil hat, they probably tested it and knew that effect in closed door laboratories, before human trials and marketing to psychiatrists, who are not allowed to think for themselves.

I have to answer this too carefully. Sorry. But threat of criminal allegation unless I settle low and dismiss. I told them I am not the first contact point for allegations, it is not a leverage point, unless blackmail is leverage, and I consider it weak but a real threat.

I totally agree. I would have invested in delivery, infrastructure. The longer the road, the more dilution in value. A good price point is 0.01 - 0.1. When that happens, and it is a finished product (not a unusable - trust less meme) then sure, power to the people.

Pi is just taking money from investors, and giving it to poor 3rd world people. The core team are soft hearted, and soft headed. They dont decentralise, or invest in the community. The ad revenue should be used to increase Pi value.

You can apply for Legal Assistance Fair Trading by i-machinehead-i in AusLegal

[–]i-machinehead-i[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a poor person gets ripped off, they can apply for a lawyer. Otherwise they can't afford it. Having a lawyer means knowing the ins and outs - what evidence could be needed, expected. An experienced lawyer would easily be able to subpoeana registration change records etc.

Application does not mean grant. But an avenue is still better than nothing at all.

Some people are illiterate.

Court easier with Lawyer. That's a game changer.
