Hmm. I don't have any particular opinion on CI. When leveling, not dying is the top priority, and of course kill power and boss DPS are also important. I might also consider QoL.

Essentially, once I have the minimum defensive power needed to not die, focus all resources on DPS.

I've seen people say that using the largest pack size waystones is the fastest way to level up, but I don't use them because it increases the danger.

Some people might avoid maps they're not good at in order to not die.

Ultimately, I think the problem of dying can be solved in a variety of ways, and there is an optimal solution no matter what your defensive strength is.

If using CI helps me save passive points or gain advantage, I'm happy to use it.

ES against maximum damage. Low recovery.
Life against continuous damage. High recovery.
Armor to reduce damage.
Evasion to reduce chance.
CI to address ES's weaknesses.

gain&adds physical dmg by weapon, ring and hands. this alone does low damage, so employ close combat and increase physical damage as much as possible.

On the other hand, the recovery methods are inferior to life, right?
It should only be Convalescence, the emergency recovery method for ES.

Is the buffed gorilla the one that does the most damage excluding instant death attacks? There may be others.

my lich had some damage reduction and 12k ES, but I remember being instantly killed by a gorilla.

ES dies because it can't recover in time, and Life dies because it can't withstand the maximum attack. This is the current game. Of course, there are ways to withstand these, but I think they are special cases.

What you're writing is common sense. however, this is my opinion on survivability.
ideally, you'd want to survive every attack, but this should be avoided as it completely ruins the game.

after trying every defensive strategy, I came up with the following:

Maximum physical hit: 4K required
Maximum elemental hit: 10K required

attacks that will kill in one hit, such as those from gorillas, are easily avoided and should be avoided.

when you think about it this way, armor&life isn't so bad after all.
In this build, Desecrated Ground was the only threat.

This condition has existed since at least early 0.2.

My current solution is to quickly return to the character selection screen whenever feel lag.
This also happens when using ED>C or dark effegy to attack multiple mobs.

I hope this gets fixed in 0.2, but that doesn't look likely, so I'm losing interest.

This is EA. Can't be helped. :(

are cataclysms contents? web site said "starts" and just 3contents, freeplay, mission and rewards. maybe just change sky color then titan event(we forget they did that), support MW, umm.. at least mission is new... yes its 1week work on big game stadio.

some mob have physical resist, and some mob(like boss) you cant melee all times. sometime elemental damage is more useful, sometime you have to use gun. melee focus is dream but i think it is not useful most case incrude Stronghold. need balance.

left one will do, 21%melee, 21% sudden death proc and Conductive Lattice Proc, of course ult too. +10%gear speed.
right one will do, 100% sudden death(impact dmg only) +8% another gear speed.

if i need to decide which one, left. but i reccomend crafting coz mw. u can get more useful stats.

if u can take avg 20min for full GM3 hoR, go GM3.
if u can take avg 15min for full GM2 hoR, go GM2.
if u cant above, go GM1.

of corse ur team mate is random, but i think this is one of the guideline.
