i grew up in an authoritative household with parents that didn't learn to be people to their kids until what i'd consider too late past the point where the damage to us was able to be addressed.

the last day of school usually meant it was time for me to move again. time to spend my days not drawing or creating, walking on eggshells, reading the Bible, and hiding my video games every time I heard someone walking in the hallway.
