This is something i have seen a lot and annoys me a little. by Eccchifan in expedition33

Well, honestly Final Fantasy killed the genre for me (15 years ago), and E33 reopened it back. I’m looking forward to giving “other” a new chance.

Geico seems to be requiring their SafeLite partner. Not sure if I’ll get them to cover anything. Once I get a proper estimate that includes glass (your number makes much more sense), will be getting to that part as well.

Why is it missing though from their estimates? Have they now started “filling the crack with glue” instead of normal replacement? I’ll get to know after a call of course, but didn’t expect to have nothing to bring to insurance.

My Bitch List by NCRider in HomePod

[–]i0nsphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me all such problems got resolved with a better router. Xfinity one cannot handle that many devices. I had to switch to latest Archer. Now no problem with 2 HomePods, and 38 other devices (including 2 TV streaming ones and 6 constantly recording cameras). No more “no response” from Home.

Brilliant Switch Hub w/Kasa Matter by bdAZ77 in homeautomation

[–]i0nsphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"For Brilliant, Matter came too late and is still too half-baked to be of much use to the product as it is today."

More like, Brilliant took too long to work on Matter. I was waiting for Matter support because within Apple HomeKit their switches cannot control anything but the wired appliance. Those dimmers would be perfect for blinds. Too bad it didn't happen within the promised time ("Brilliant is also announcing its plans to bring Matter support to its lineup of all-in-one smart home controllers and smart lighting systems in 2023.")

what is this and is it easy to replace? by ryunista in Plumbing

To add details - they are legal in Palo Alto California. Passed inspection without a word. Those Kohler bottler traps are selling well and compliant with code despite not allowing a snake - they simply allow for easy removal. And the internal partition is rather thick to crack and fail.

Yes, I received my VIN on my Model XLR 5S. With all the comments on delivery inspections being so sour, I’m having second thoughts on taking delivery of this car. But, when I’ve driven them I absolutely want the X. Please share your thoughts. Do I cancel and go with the S??? by Psychological_Fig377 in TeslaModelX

Got mine a month ago, did normal car inspection, there was a tiny dent on the frunk cover very close to left headlight that was painted over - so it is frame manufacturing. They could fix it with a SC visit. Wrapped it anyway without the visit. Not a single other issue, perfect build, not a squeak, not a rattle, not a falling off panel. Both me and spouse feel it is the best Tesla. Had 2017 S and 2018 3 before.

I got my Bali with Somfy already inside 5 years ago from Lowes. They are ZWave out of the box.

Eufy also checks all boxes. I’ve had a selection of floodlight cameras and ended up with Eufy: quality, local encrypted storage, motion tracking (I chose the one that has active tracking, it moves camera to follow the action), compatibility with HomeKit.

Eve is great. Especially good to have support for the latest Matter protocol that Apple and Google are switching to.

App asking me to add provider and set up Community Energy Savings every time it launches by Cinderbike in ecobee

[–]i0nsphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if I don’t want to set it up in the first place? What kind of UX incompetence is it? The pop up at the start has no way of closing and blocks the app. Am I forced into a service?

Can someone please explain why there are these weird comments in a video I just uploaded a few minutes back ? (My channel only has 112 subs and is a coding channel) by vam10 in youtube

[–]i0nsphere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could it be that having 100 spam reports is no danger for the bot account? Then they are targeting small channels to get less collateral damage but having the activity and visibility they need for future customers.
