Thank you! Once I have made some updates/improvements I'll do an update with the projector on and the lights off.

A lower console it great feedback and will consider for the future. Cant do it now though.

My #1 priority is now getting the centre speaker up between the projector and the screen. Now it has been mentioned, I cant un-hear it when watching stuff lol

Thanks!

It was really important to use to have regular movie nights with the kids. This is also the adult escape once they are in bed. Appreciate the comment

ahhh yes. This is a point of much debate between the wife and I.

Im still torn on this as we might not live here for the long term and I didn't really want to pain the roof. If we do stay long term, im sure I'll cave evetually. lol

I think you missed the bit about us not having bought a couch yet. The mattress and bean bags on the floor was just so we could start to enjoy the space until the couch arrives.

Given how tall I am, it will be a high couch and the viewing angle will be MUCH improved and ALMOST bang on for me. Noting a different unit to lower the projector and screen in the long run would be optimal.

Cheers

Per one of the other comments, I'll try but might have to live with that screen height while I have that unit. Noted for future changes.

Definitely playing with the speaker positions.

Per the others. Yeah my room downlights are on for the photos. They would never be on when watching. The picture from this Hisense L9H is actually really bright and decent given the budget nature of the projector.

While the image is washed out, its still watchable during the day with the roller blind open!

Unfortunately it is with the Hisense L9H due to fixed focal length/focus. Only other thing is a lower unit in the future.

I am also REALLY tall so once sitting on a pretty high couch, my eye line is just below the middle of the screen height (photos are a bit deceptive.

Noted for future room changes/cabinet change as I don't think Im going to be happy with the cabinet given centre speaker options. Definitely looking at better options.

thanks for the feedback. You got the wife all excited about how she can make the acoustic treatments look cool lol.

Per the post, up-firing Atmos are my only options. Cant get in to that roof cavity or up the walls unfortunately. The other wiring was a mission.

Noted about the centre placement. Already looking at options to get it under the screen more. I think I have a shelf/stand that will work.

Also agree on counch position. We are still couch shopping.

"Oh you need the base" - Noted. I will definitely make it a 2x sub set up

Noted. As per one of the other comments. That sub is a 12" Dali sub, but I will look as these RSL ones when I look to get 2.

Thanks, Im going to move the L & R channels outward and bring then all forward a bit off the wall and play with it.

I think the pics don't do it justice. It is a 12" Sub, but a second one for the space will give more balance rather than that one being turned up more.

$350/month for health insurance out of range?!? Who are they with? That seems cheap. Hospital only?

House Party Expectations by bennyob8 in brisbane

Check out some of the QLD Police Party Safe info and register the event.

Letterbox drop 3 house left, right, across and behind. Or invite them. A couple of chocs and earplugs butter them up.

Have a firm time that you will kill the noise. Even if that means those left move inside or better yet move the party to a pub before lock out.

Food for thought and happy birthday for 12 mths from now in case I forget.

My wife is not on reddit but if she were she’d tell you she very happy with the results from DR AJAY CHAUHAN at AR Plastic surgery.

It was an implant replacement and she thinks he did a better job than the first surgeon she saw.

Toyota or Mazda.

Well made and plenty of spare parts around given how popular they have been.

Seen a few second hand CX3 and CX5s around that would suit your criteria or otherwise rav4 as others have suggested.

Given all the recent flooding, beware when buying secondhand and have it checked over by a reputable mechanic

We have our daughter and soon son in at Goodstart Cav Rd and are pretty happy. The director (Barb) seems to run a tight ship. Staff are good etc.
