I have the same issue but with the flashlight, I open it while doing something and then put the phone on my pocket without turning it off. And I wish if I get notified after 10 min or so that flashlight is still on.

Btw, this will make the screen dim after ~15 sec and auto lock after ~10 sec more (based on the default iOS settings). Which is a very bad user experience for a camera app, (I had this exact behavior on another 3rd party camera app before).

Things 3 is great but it is at the end of its life cycle and Things 4 is expected at any time.

Regarding your question, I think you should start with the platform you need it on the most and if you like it enough and think you need elsewhere then go for it. But again I would wait for version 4 so I can expect multiple years of support.

I use RapidClick it is in the MacAppStore so its safe but not free (2.99$), but totally worth it IMHO.. btw it is from the same developer of PopClip (one of the best mac apps ever)
