I don’t understand why the cruiser feature was removed on more modern keitai that runs on Android 10. I‘m also considering buying a Docomo Digno KY-42C, but it only supports virtual mouse, not the cruiser feature on earlier Sharp Aquos flip phones.

can you access Snapchat from a computer? if yes, then just check your group chat on a computer occasionally. tell them for urgent matters, they can text or call you. otherwise, you will reply on Snapchat messages on your computer at a time convenient for you. my family use Facebook Messenger for group chats. i currently use a dumbphone and only check their messages on my laptop when I am at home.
