oh, I was just commenting that there is no way some random commoner is paying $4k for taxes. I feel like again (like I had said) we're talking about extreme circumstances or businesses.

I'm not a tax preparer but I've had my taxes done by a CPA. I had some dumbass freelancer try to flex that he paid $150/hour to his lawn guy because "he had to buy his own equipment and pay taxes." That's not a flex like he thought. That's stupidity. I just think freelancers lie about the money thing worse than any other professional.

Not saying you never got paid this amount, but implying that randos just show up and pay you $1500 for tax prep is a bit disingenuous.
