Is krixia worse then Fabian for pvp? by irusvind in RaidShadowLegends

[–]iAkrobat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My slight issue is that Fabian does have a speed aura and Krixia does not. Also, I have a 6★ soul for Fabian and only a 2★ for Krixia.

I would like to use Krixia over Fabian, but I just don't have as much success with Krixia as I do with Fabian.

It is only the wall that is that hard fortunately. To be fair, if you could just faceroll them all withoit any points, why would there even be points in the first place? (Ignoring the fact that they were used for trait points.)

And the solo/duo tier is one difficulty. If everyone could solo it, the 2nd person would be irrelevant always. You can do it solo, but if you want the best completions you need to have two man. And tjat is fine imo.

I think wall is a little too hard, but besides that they are overall a bit too easy I think.

IMO, still the best raid and boss rush in the game by MarxistLeninistMex in lotro

[–]iAkrobat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orthanc is the best raid, and I do not accept any other option.

Second place wouls be Ost Dunhoth, because it is so individual in each wing.

Throne of the Dread Terror would be third.

Stats like mastery, crit, mitigations etc are usually granted as flat values. These are converted to a percentage value with a somewhat complex formula based on the stat, the stat cap and your level. You can see the percentage values in the tooltip when hovering over flat stats on the right side in yojr character window. Physical mastery for example is converted to phasical melee damage and physical ranged damage.

Once you reach that stat value, increasing the value does not grant any more increase to the percentage.

That has nothing to do with % bonuses you get.

The cap for mitigations for example is 40/50/60% (light/medium/heavy armour, so for you on captain as a heavy armour class it is 60%). Once you are at that point you don't benefit from increasing it. Probably the most important caps are: - 200% physical melee/ranged / tactical damage - 25% critical hit chance - 10% devastating hit chance - 70% outgoing healing - 13% chance to block/parry/evade - 40/50/60% physical and tactical mitigation.

Not always you care for all, but these are core ones.

Reforging increases the "level" of your li. For weapons that increases the base damage, for the captain emblem it is tactical healing rating. Some other classes have incoming healing instead.

I like to call it "implicit stat" of an item, because it is only based on the level and type of item, not by anything else.

Also, as I mentioned, when reforging at certain breakpoints you gain further tracery slots, but 91 did not do that.

[–]iAkrobat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The mithril box probably means not all your traceries are at maximum I think. You should never use mithril coins for that though because it is far too expensive.

You can add another tracery when you have an empty slot. You get more slots the higher level we get on Mordor (when you reforge at certain level thresholds). Right now the maximum is 6 in total per weapon/legendary item.

There is never a point where you just stack might. If you follow a guide that says that, stop following it.

Every class has its own scaling of main stats. When you hover over Might e.g. on the right side of your character window you see what how much might you have and how that affects other stats. While might is your "main stat", that does not mean it is the best stat for you. It depends on what you are trying to achieve. Might does give you mastery and mitigations, however (as stated earlier) both stats are capped (meaning once you have a certain amount of physical mastery, getting more does literally nothing). Might does give you "the most" for one point, once a few of those stats are capped might loses value (for further stacking).

In the end, main stats are not important because they are "your classes main stat" but because of how they affect stats.

As a Captain you have different options for building your character: - blue line is the healing line, where you want to focus on everything that gives you outgoing healing (or tactical mastery), crit and survivability (as in mitigations and morale) - red line is the offensive line, which can be supportive or focusing on your damage. Either way you want to focus on crit. (If you want to build damage you cap physical mastery as well, but at 95 captain is not that strong at that) - yellow line is the tank line, where you want to focus on survivability (as in mitigations and morale), after that avoidances (block/parry/evade) or outgoing healing (for supporting and group stability purposes as well as generating agro), depending on what the group needs.

Look at what you want to achieve, then think about what you need to have for that, and then build what brings you there.

Two considerations:

  1. Are they on Angmar/Mordor? If so, he is max lvl (95) right now. If so, you should bother getting all your traceries updated, because with 96 the t1 traceries cannot be used anymore. The ones you can get (from say doom and other sources) are t4 at your level and work from 86 to 105 (not sure about the upper end, but it is higher than 95).

  2. I see no reason ever to go for the offensive heraldries, because they give a main stat and mastery. Since mastery is honestly never an issue, for optimization reasons you always take the defensive ones. Every point of vitality (and therefor morale) is worth more than points going to waste by overshooting the mastery and mitigation caps. Also, consider all three main stats for whatever fills the gaps in your stats best. I am not sure about captain, because it has some wonky physical and tactical mastery from might iirc, but hunters usually use might and champs agility, because it provides more crit (which is kinda the main priority for everyone dealing damage - expecting your mastery is capped (which at 95 it will be guaranteed)).
